Fried Meat! Cuban Vaca Frita, my mom's recipe

Vaca Frita is a house favorite especially amongst the kids. There is only one or two places in all of South Florida where we will buy it instead of make it at home. This dish is so treasured by our family that it is usually special requested as a birthday dinner with a side of fresh white rice and maduros, of course.
Ernie joins his mom in her kitchen for today's #authenticCubanrecipe . The best part is that you also get a soup out of it so the dish is great to make as a Sunday dinner and then reheat during the week while you use soup for lunches.
