OK, it's funny how you mention Kingdom Hearts and Galaxy in the same sentence, because I can DEFINITELY hear a mix between the Showdown at Hollow Bastion before Sinister Shadows plays and Hurry! from Super Mario Galaxy 2. I dunno how the heck I never noticed that before, but I'm so glad I do now!
Eh, to an extent - I get the "Airship" concept, but this track has the hype for a final battle and Boss Blitz Galaxy should have been the freaking recipient of this! The fact that we got such a dull and boring track like Battle Belt Galaxy was brutally underwhelming - this would have prepared us for The Perfect Run without a doubt!
Since a new console is coming out, supposedly a new upgraded switch. I really hope they’ll remake Mario Sports Mix, it’s such a underrated game that deserves more love and attention.
Is it me or is this theme the same as the Behemoth boss theme that is also from this game but it’s in different instruments or remixed? If you can memorize the themes it’s almost like if they’re in the same pattern but it sounds different because the instruments.

Once I got all the characters, I always loved to play as Mario, Peach, and Luigi vs Ninja, White Mage, and Black mage, and vice-versa.
