Those SEDONA's are topclass spinning reels for an entry level... Shimano built quility right there.. Hagane gearing system really goes the distance.... Awesome video, thanx mate...
Man I need to go back there, love catching zebras so much on iso gear. Biggest one I got out of there was 40! Took me into the rocks 3-4 times, still don’t know how I managed to land it😂
I really like you fishing show ,,,have you try to fish with overhead surf rods and reel with slide baits ???? its the best way to do fishing because overhead reels can cast far away ,,, just cast out about 140meter with grapnell sinker and slide you bait down
I don't normally bait fish, so I just use my spinning gear. Overhead reels are a bit more delicate when casting. I've never used them for bait, just for casting lures for barramundi in the northern area of Australia. What do you normally target?
I just love fishing with South Africa style.. so I'm going after big shark, ray , snapper of rock but not to eat them ..but for sports and in one days I wish I can tags them for marine biology to study about the fish.
Crumpets and Murrells beach are no good during the day, wish i had known you were down here i could have shown you a few good spots (depending if the fish are about). Great video by the way.
Gday, Hope you had fun here in Portland, When you have your next Portland trip planned, feel free to send a private message and I can tell you several locations that are my goto for salmon. As well as any target fish locations you might be after. Cheers.

Hey mate , when the whole coronavirus settles down , travel down again and we can go off the break wall, lots of decent snapper among other species caught off there! Send us a message next time!
Check out the range of metal lures at jigglefishing.com.au/collections/metal-lures which are perfectly suited to Salmon, Tailor, Couta and the like!
I’m in Portland rn and caught a giant stripy fish on squid and it was very fun and also got lots of Taylor
It's great for big calamari, my p.b. was from there, huge p.b. good stuff, glad you had a great time. Cheer's.
Most enjoyable segment Lincoln. The footage showing your man sized calves just powering through the ocean pebbles was great.
The size of tree trunks I know haha. 😂😂

Looking forward to another Portland video, it’d be good to see some of that breakwater action.
Hopefully the lockdown ends soon so I can get out there again.
Great video. That Savage Gear rod is so light and gets the job done. 😃
Always enjoyed fishing Portland, had my favourite catch there a couple years ago, 72cm Kingfish on a whiting rig hahaha always love a surprise.
Nice kingfish is one of 3 fish on my bucket list. Other 2 is a mullaway and a mako shark.

Yeah just poked my head around and used Google maps, blind leading the blind this trip haha.
Crumpets is pretty rough at the moment really shallow good shark spot at night but get snapped off alot haha
Luderick are awesome. Me and my mate float fish for them, they go pretty hard too
From Google (because I also wasn't 100% sure on species) - these are Zebrafish 😁
That’s fantastic
I caught an elephant fish of the rocks out Dutton way in Portland when I was about 12, they put up a good fight.
I haven't caught one of them yet? They look a little odd that's for sure
@@LandFishTV yeah they are a pretty ugly fish, I let mine go but apparently I found out later on that they are pretty good eating.
Should try chicken breast strips as well... Bream loves it...
Regards.
Dirk from Richards Bay South Africa. 🌍🇿🇦👌
Are those zebras any good to eat?
I've heard they aren't bad!
Just wanting to know if you need a licence to fish at Albert Park Lake
Love the vids
Yeah mate... You need a licence for any kind of recreational fishing in Victoria.
Thanks for helping man, thanks

Sweep and good to eat :P
FYI The fish you call zebra's are actually Luderick the legal min size is 23cm and has a bag limit of 10
These are not luderick, very similar though. They are often mistaken.
I only live 1 hour from Portland
Good old woollies
Ludrick,sweep
