Keelin your video’s are so comforting I’ve watched you through many phases of your life on here and you’ve grown and learned so much. Your rawness and sharing your opinions and perspectives and advice is so appreciated. I think a lot of your audience would agree that you are a safe person for more people than you even know, especially your daughter. I thought I didn’t want kids until I watched you beautifully navigate motherhood. Even with your heartbreak videos a few years ago, really taught me a lot about navigating heartbreak and finding a greater purpose and how it opens up for so many new beginnings. You helped so many people through lockdowns and covid scares. You are definitely one of the more introspective and honest people online atm. I’m so happy you’re coming home to yourself.

You’re mourning the future you imagined, not the one you would’ve actually had. Your mind created something beautiful. But it would’ve been hard for you to be with someone who couldn’t give you want you needed. To be free and stable and happy and content is the best thing for you and your daughter. Good things are ahead 🦋

I feel like nobody ever talks about the reality of the negative emotions that can come with motherhood because mom shame is so real. I don’t have children, but I really empathize and understand where you’re coming from as a woman. You’re doing a great job and the way you’re so self aware and willing to learn is very admirable! ❤

I wish I could put into words how much you help me.
I’m an expectant first time mama and was introduced to you by a friend once I found out I was pregnant.
Being able to go back and watch you before you were pregnant, during your pregnancy and you now - to know the thought processes behind every stage , the growth, determination and strength you possess as a woman makes me so proud.
If I could be anywhere near as good of a mum/person as you are I know I’d have succeeded at this little thing called life.
Seeing you struggle is so hard, but hand on heart I know this is another hurdle that you will smash, along with multiple other hurdles that I have already watched you thrive over. Xx

So happy you shared the stories about what it is like to be a mother at a young age, having no one to relate to and people not looking at you and at your daughter instead when you enter a room.
My mum and my dad broke up when I was 1 and I grew up in my Grandparents house. My mum was 21 when she had me and post partum depression, so this video has giving me so much insight into how it was for my mum when I was a baby.
You are so lucky to grow up in this information-era and to have so much help.
I am so close to my grandparents and I think being raised by a village has been brilliant. Keep this content coming ❤

You are so inspirational. Whenever I feel weak and overwhelmed by it all, I find so much comfort and even strength in your videos. Thank you Keelin ❤️ truly doing gods work for the girlies with your videos (this one in particular). Breakups obviously are the fucking worst thing on the planet, maybe worse than death because it’s such a fucked up kind of grief when the other person is still alive and you’re just like what?? Why are you not with me anymore?? So I truly wish you all the best!!!! Stay strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keelin! I have never commented on a yt video before, but have watched all your vids the last 4 years. Firstly, think if anything is clear from your vids is that you are a FAB mother and will have such a lovely relationship with your daughter as she grows older. Secondly, a bit random but something I've loved over the years is seeing your opinions change on things. It's just a nice reminder that we're all human and we're all constantly trying to figure the world out. Lots of love xxx

It’s strong of you to share these emotions and thoughts and to allow yourself to grieve the relationship that you lost, it’s okay to cry in front of your baby❤️ You are a mother but you’re also human and it’s perfectly fine to let your emotions show. Take comfort in the people around you even if they can’t always relate to you, just know that you aren’t alone.

I know exactly how you feel. It’s so lonely and isolating when nobody knows how you feel & what you’re going through. I’ve distanced myself from friends and colleagues I would’ve hung out with before I had my baby because I’m just like ‘I dunno what to say to you anymore’. Love you ❤❤I teared up when you said about not wanting to cry in front of your baby. I feel like that too sometimes I just have to cry and I let him play in his play pen because I don’t want him to see me upset. I just have very little support. Thank you so much for sharing this I feel so seen ♥️ bless you & your beautiful baby. Things will get better.

These last years I felt so lonely and anxious and I also got diagnosed with postpartum depression and anxiety. The only thing we differ, is that I decided to take the Sertralin and I think that saved my relationship with the babys father. i dont have any friends anymore after i moved away and lived full time with my partner i felt there was just a disconnection from that alone as single friends have a different mind set. I literally talk to my 2 cats and my family. I only have 1 friend left who lives back where i grew up. i understand that difficulty of growing up, being in a different life position and missing what you had. however, where you are now is where you are meant to be, youve changed youve grown and evolved. their life might seem ideal but think about the fact that theyre probably in the same position as you last knew them (no shade tho). it is the most powerful thing to bring in new life, its so special, keep doing what youre doing and moving forward

I play the piano and the guitar and I am here to tell you that having small hands absolutely makes a difference!!
I have stupidly tiny hands and I've had to learn my own ways of making it work over the years.
Bass is notoriously hard to play when you've got small hands, but you could try getting a smaller bass. There are different sizes out there. Even one that's child size but functions normally, honestly you'll find it SO much easier and it's worth it for your hands in the long run.
I'm sure you're doing great anyway, don't be discouraged ❤

There's actually been quite a bit of emerging research on post-natal depression being more prevalent in Western societies as there isn't a culture of collective support around new mothers, in Western societies women are expected to do it all on their own or when their partner isn't working full time whereas in non-Western cultures, there are cultural traditions and practices where the whole community will come together to support a new mother and her child with gifts, company and minding the child for her while she rests!

Oh my fuckijg god. That bit after talking about moving in with your parents literally feels like my broken record of my life. Single 24 year old mom rn. My bub turns two in January. Wow wow wow. So fucking real. BUT I was only ever a single parent and I’m not co parenting. So I do think a lot about how I would have dealt with the shift if I had known what having a partner in the traditional sense from the beginning. Like I only ever know this and weirdly did feel a bit of like relief that I had nothing to compare it to. Not saying that I feel any pity or whatever the fuck for people on the other side more like I know I’m so sensitive and i do feel kinda like if I had a breakup during pregnancy or after I think I’d have fallen apart at least a decent amount.
