It worked for me thank you . Saved me from buying a new tank
it works! I just did it. THANK YOU, SIR!!!! Burned fingers never felt so good! hahaha
Step one: Heat up and remove the bolt. Step two: Step three: Profit.
tank was washed out of gas first and then i used marine epoxy to but the brass inserts back in.
What kind of epoxy will hold up with gasoline? Same issue on 88 CR125. Please let us know. -Thanks
Jim Armbrester I used Loctite marine epoxy.
Paul Crozier Thanks Paul. I also discovered some stuff called seal all. May try it..
Could the bolt be heated up with a torch
Alfredo Magana you’re gonna put a torch on your gas tank?
Dayton Wintle the gas tank I’m working on hasn’t had gas in it for a few months so I’m sure it’ll be fine
@@alfredomagana6470 well that makes it better. But you dont want to melt completely through the tank with tank with the torch. Maybe fill the tank with water so you cant burn through it
Now what?
Mr. C's stuff lol
