Looks like it sealed fairly quick. You could take the lid off and put a little air pressure inside with compressor and check to see if you have any leaks. I wouldn't put much though... Nice job!
I would say the safest way to do this would be to drain the fuel tank and rinse out with Dawn dish soap or fill the fuel tank completely to the brim because fuel is not flammable in a liquid state. The only time it is flammable is whenever it vaporizes, so let’s say your tank is half full and you are putting the insert on the top of the tank for whatever reason it hits the vapors inside of the fuel tank it could combust that’s why I would say if it is full it will not combust I learned this in aviation school we would take a match and dip it into av gas to put it outthen we would take av gas and spray it out of a spray bottle over a match and watch the flame
@@walkdawg171 for sure there’s better ways to do it. There is an air gap designed in the tank. So it’s 2 layers. The insert is not directly touching any fuel. If it were, all tanks with inserts would leak. But thanks for the insight! It’s appreciated!
@@linksgarage1985 when you get it situated, bring em both down to east Tn. We can ride the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, and Newfound Gap. That banshee bike would be fun on the Dragon.
Proving necessity is the mother of invention..Well played !
Well said sir. Gotta to what we gotta do!

The insert area doesn’t go all the way in to the tank. There is plastic built up inside around it to prevent leaking. Thanks for watching!
@@linksgarage1985 oh ok, kinda like a double wall.
@@maxwell9734 yes sir
Nice job!
@@sunset7389 thank you!!
Having this problem on my CR , the holes in the gas tank are stripped , how did you assure you weren’t gonna puncture the tank?
@@Zams76k the tank has an inner layer (this one does anyway). Or else, it would
Leak around the fittings.
