Thank you for your comments...particularly about watercolor taking time to get comfortable with. Some days I NAIL it - but there are ten OFF days and frustration is high. Thanks again.
I like these. I'm not fantasy with flowers I'm real Where I live they are all fragrant. At celebrations we often where crows on heads, long necklaces and abundance within our hair. We grow to make give and wear all throughout the year. These remind me of jasmine. Enjoyed this piece.🎉❤
Cee Cee, I am binging your videos, and I am learning so much just from WATCHING! Things I didn’t understand about water control, I’m finally beginning to see! I’ve read books, watched so many other creators, but you are the greatest blessing of all. ❤️
Oh to paint with an easy flow as you do. I’m absorbing all you do. You have inspired me. Heading to a few days in TN and naturally taking my art supplies. I’m working on cards for my church. Merry Christmas Greetings from Pensacola.
I love the video with music while you paint it is so absorbing. I also love the fact that you show the bits you don't love. You are a real inspiration but make sure you rest too we can all be hungry birds!!
I'm a self taught artist of many mediums but I'm absolutely obsessed with watercolor and I'm do excited and inspired by your work ceecee. Absolutely mesmerizing 💗
Oh CeeCee - I loved watching you this morning and I made a breakthrough! I realized I was holding my brush too far up for some of the detail work! (Doh!) you've probably mentioned this in your videos many times but I am a slow learner. The water control is still a real challenge cause our climate on the prairies is so dry! Don't ever worry about not giving us enough to work with. I watch your videos over and over. They are so instructive and meditative as well. Thank you so much for all you do!
thank you, Betty. oh and you didn't miss it... i never mentioned the grip on the brush. i just do it naturally. it's amazing how i take for grated some gestures. you brought up a very good point here. thank you for that too!
I am a notice at watercoloring. I have learned plenty to start practicing a few of your flowers and leaves. You are a great teacher! Thank you for taking the time to teach us your skills.
It makes me feel better to watch you mess up right along with the rest of us! You do beautiful work and l love watching. I learn something new every time.!
I am slowly working through and trying out for myself each of your tutorials. This one like all of them are so helpful, I learn something with every one. Thank you CeeCee
I tried to emulate this today - I can only hope that I will accomplish this one day. Every mistake is a lesson learned and I thank you for sharing this - this piece is amazing!
This is a beautiful “morning practice,” and I appreciate your mistakes as much as your triumphs. It pleases me that you don’t edit them out, as I learn from each of them as if they were my own. 🙂
I learn so much from just watching you carefully! I’m a beginner and the wet on wet drives me crazy! I know I need tutorials and yours will be the first when I get my check. I love this painting, mistakes and all!
I enjoyed this video for relaxing music and watching the watercolor you do. This is so nice as I learn in a relaxing atmosphere. I prefer this form of video tutorial. You help with encouraging me to learn and enjoy my down time when I have time.
Thank you so much for such lovely watercolors. Although i came to know your existence pretty late, but now onwards will try to find out all your videos. Learning a lot from you. Thank you for encouraging beginners like us. Keep doing more for us. All the best.
While there is so much going on around the world, uncertainty, anxiety, stress, fear and worry may arise but this morning life presented a beautiful, hopeful, cheerful and graceful way of connecting with our true nature. That pure state of being ... I saw myself in every brush stroke ... flowing and surrendering through every shade and color. Every single petal ... a choice to be open to the Sun ... An open heart! Have a beautiful day ... Thank you! 🌸🌺☀️🌈
I have just found your site. I love what you have done. It shows that even real artists have morning issues. And how much you can do before it is too much. Thanks for sharing your talents and time.
This is a great tutorial! I recently picked up water colors again, and pulled out what I hadn't touched in my closet in 20 years. I like how you have a close up of your strokes throughout. I also like how you described your mistake and how to try to avoid it happening. I have subscribed and am looking forward to many more of your videos, and going to check out your Patreon.
CeeCee, you have such a gift for choosing beautiful colours. Today’s colours are so soothing. I’m nowhere near as professional as you, but your morning videos have encouraged me to keep practicing. So glad that you can keep producing such them for us. Thank you. 🌺
Good morning Cee Cee! LOVE LOVE LOVE this.! Thanks for not stopping your morning warm ups! I'm on the Cali coast time so your vids hit in the wee hours of the morning... I lay in bed and watch them, drift back off usually and when I get my day started I give it a shot! Thank you CeeCee, you are such an incredible inspiration to me!
I have watched a few videos and never mentioned the fact that Closed Caption is one of the benefits to me watching your videos. Even tho I wear hearing aides, I miss some important words and phrases sometimes. Thank you for your sharing your morning practices.
I have been watching your videos for a long time... I love every one of them. For me, it's a pleasure just watching your brush technique, it's so relaxing and I must say, extremely inspiring. I have been painting for longer than you and quite consistantly but I have learned so much from you. Thank you. 💕
I’m so glad I found you ,this is my 2nd video of yours I’ve watched and have learned more then the countless hours and others I’ve watch ..thank you ..hugs
I keep being awed by each one of your awesome artwork! I love the nature ones so much-you are so good at leaves-I need so much more practice. Thanks for sharing your art with us.
I am going to call these "CeeCee orchids". I love how you come up with fantasy flowers and they turn out so good. Thank you for sharing the warm-ups, I learn so much from you.
I love and look forward to morning ‘s with your watercolor tutorials, music well that just adds to the opening of my mind. I don’t mind the end of video feedback. Keep it up it works for me. 😉
This showed up in my suggested videos tonight. So glad I watched. Love your recap at the end. Getting ready to attempt a similar process on a different shaped flower and cannot wait to see how it turns out.
I love, love this! The colors, the composition, everything. This is what I aspire to. Thank you for your videos, you have renewed my interest in trying watercolor painting!
Hi Cee Cee thank you so much by helping me get my painting head back on. I know this is an old painting but you have got my creative juices flowing again . From Annie in Devon ,England.
I love this video, such a beautiful painting, simple, but gorgeous. I will have to practice that technique for "bleeding" the color. Thanks for sharing with us.
I 💚 your work! Thanks so much for everything your share with us. I have learnt SO much from today's practice!!!! My biggest problem so far has been to actually put something on paper, & today I actually have!!! 🙌
thank you. unfortunately, your problem cannot be solved by someone else. you just have to do it. here's a tip: take your paper out, grab a brunch and some water and paint and just drip some dots for starter. splash the paint around and then play with the dots. without any goal in mind. just play around.... i bet you you'll have something and captivating before you know it. let me know how it turns out!
Apparently, we all need sleep and joy. I, for one, am delighted in watching this video and double-blessed that it brought you joy. I was finally able to get outside for a morning walk and was taking reference photos of foliage and flowers. I am beginning to pay more attention to why I take the photos - what is drawing my eye. Sometimes it is how the light is dancing over the subject, sometimes the subjects have some unique characteristics. There was a plant that is akin to a yucca with wide leaves straight from the ground that end in very sharp points. What struck me was it had many of those slender tendrils/shoots? like the three in your painting. Something so delicate wrapping around those thick pointy leaves. Recently I became interested in how paint travels in wet on wet painting and just like magic, you demonstrated that beautifully. I was able to guess the colors in the flowers and the color you used to shade them. I was stumped by the leaves on the ground - Holbein. I loved the way you didn't seem to panic when the stem of the middle flower wicked into the petal of the right flower. I have noticed how you blot the water from your brush and pick up traveling paint and you were successful in lifting just the right amount of shading! Do not forget at age 58, I started working 7 days a week and had 3 heart attacks, flatlined, and had triple bypass surgery all in a span of 7 months. Apparently, we all need sleep! Love and hugs.
nancy, i'm so happy to hear that you are enjoying nature and taking it all in for your art. and i'm glad the videos bring you something positive and helpful. and from now on, i will pay more attention to my health... you are right: we all need sleep and joy. have a beautiful day!
Thank you this is a beautiful painting quiet and restful. It also very striking. I am interested in knowing what kind of a brush you used? I’m not familiar with the coloring on the brush and so I am really interested in knowing what you’re using thank you so much if I had a time and do get rest will be here after you’ve had a sleep ha ha
Cee Cee always lists the supplies she uses in her video description. She used • #6 round watercolor brush (Caviar by Dynasty) • small design fude menso brush (Pentel). I am Cee Cee's #1 fan. The reason I am responding to your question is because you replied to my comment instead of the main body of replies. May your day be flooded with creative light.
Hi, just discovered your channel and am looking forward to watching more of your videos, I loved all of the flowers in this one even the one you “messed up” I have been painting watercolour a little longer than you, about 5 years and am only now beginning to feel “comfortable” 😃. I find that sometimes if you leave a painting you’re not happy with for a short while say even a week or two and go back to it you can go in and fix it. Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts on where you feel you have gone wrong. 😃
I would love it if you would show a better over head of your initial sketch. I feel it is part of the learning process on how to lay down the initial set up. For now, I watch the end of the video first to get that initial lay out. Love allllll of your videos.
Please know that while you don't intend for these videos to be tutorials - I learn so much from them. I have only been painting in any medium for about 6 months and I have found your videos very helpful and inspiring. I am very visual and like to watch how you use your water, brushes and colors. I agree that you need rest and time for family, but I selfishly miss your daily videos when they are not here. But that is on me and not you! LOL! :) Keep up the amazing work and I will definitely will be watching!
Good morning Cee Cee! I echo what many have already said I truly love love love your work and appreciate that you’re willing to share it all with us! Thank you!
I must say that I'm 19 min. IN AND that dark brown that seeped into the leaves looks beautiful! I'm just getting started with water color and I enjoy you're videos.Karen from Canada.
I love your brushes that you use. Do you mind saying what brushes you are using? Circumstances out of my control kept me from painting for 2 months with planting flowers outside, clipping ivy to root. I love my ivy. I have visited George Washington's home which a lot of the forest is covered with ivy. I bought 15 plants 20 years ago and now I have I you climbing my house, trees, gazebo but I have to replace some each year and I dono want to buy anymore ivy. I want my ivy to just be from the 15 plants I bought. So I clip new growth, root them and then plant them where ivy got hit with too much cold weather. I use to paint everyday and got more and more control then lost it. I came across your tutorials and absolutely love them. Putting that brush to a clean paper is scary but something like this is wonderful. I love it and now I am dedicated to your tutorials. Thank you so much.
I never heard the rumor, but I'm glad they are staying. Heck I noticed you didn't publish on Monday, but I look at it like, occasionally you're going to miss a day here and there. I'm good with it as long as you do what makes you happy. What makes me happy is they are here for the time being!! Yah!! I love this leavy piece!! All three are pretty but I do love the delicateness of the two lighter ones. Beautiful!! Thanks once again for sharing. I LOVE your practices!
Loved this video don’t mind the music as I find I absorb more as I am a visual learner. Like your self critique at the end as I gain understanding of why you did what you did, and how you might have done it differently. So thank you 😊
CeeCee I love the close ups but I also like the farther away... I would have never known you were using an undiluted color match to make the dark area had you not been zoomed out. So enjoy any and all of your videos. As you know, anything you do is fine with me
thank you, Jaci! yes, i've realized that the close-ups don't give you the full spectrum of how i do things. so from now on, i'll try to mix it up. have a beautiful weekend!
Wow!! I loved watching the whole process, CeeCee!!! I find it fascinating watching the blending!! And what??? You need sleep? Really??!! Imagine that!!! I'd write more, but I gotta nap!!! zzzzz
thank you, Sylvia! ROFLMAO . girl, you kill me. but i'm really not ti.....zzzzzz......... what?! oh, what was i sa........ zzzzzzz..... must g.........
Dear CeeCee, just want to thank you so much for these videos! And I do not mind at all that there is music in the videos! I totally understand about the editing part and you are having a life offline! :) PLEASE take care of you!! Your videos is my ME time, when I take care of me actually. When I watch, and listening to the calm music. I also at the same time am doing some breathing exercises. I tend to breathe wrong most of the day!! Just breathing at the top of my lungs and not all the way down to the tummy so to speak lol. But this is the time when I breathe right! It is almost like meditating! But with my eyes open of course LOL I totally LOVE this piece!! And I love it all! Even that part you do not like!! lol You truly are such an inspiration! So thank you!! Have a great and creative day and remember.... take care of you! :)
thank you, Mona, for your kind words! i love the idea of taking a break once in a day to relax and breathe properly. so many of us don't know how to do that, myself included. my brother learned the technique of breathing though chi-kong, an ancient asian discipline. i keep meaning to check into that. you just reminded me that i need to prioritize that. have a beautiful day, sweet Mona!
Great painting. I don't mind the way you did this as a tutorial. If someone has never painted before, they may need more instruction. Watching from Taiwan and am self-taught.
I love the music! So soothing and great for flow state. thank you
Thank you for your comments...particularly about watercolor taking time to get comfortable with. Some days I NAIL it - but there are ten OFF days and frustration is high. Thanks again.

I'm good with it as long as you do what makes you happy. What makes me happy is they are here for the time being!! Yah!! I love this leavy piece!! All three are pretty but I do love the delicateness of the two lighter ones. Beautiful!! Thanks once again for sharing. I LOVE your practices!
thank you, Kat!
Hooray hooray! So happy to know you’ll still be around!
Maravilhoso trabalho!
Wow!! I loved watching the whole process, CeeCee!!! I find it fascinating watching the blending!! And what??? You need sleep? Really??!! Imagine that!!! I'd write more, but I gotta nap!!! zzzzz

But with my eyes open of course LOL
I totally LOVE this piece!!
You are much welcome! :) Glad I could help! Wish you a beautiful day as well dear CeeCee, and breathe! :)
Learning so much from your beautiful work, thanks ever so much for sharing
I love how natural the paper is I wonder if it’s available in Canada.
Thanks for your beautiful piece of art! Love it.
Love it, morning meditation
Great painting. I don't mind the way you did this as a tutorial. If someone has never painted before, they may need more instruction. Watching from Taiwan and am self-taught.
Thank you, it’s lovely. Will try to practice more!
