I can't believe this exists!! Lee Bermejo is hands down my favourite artist. His work on Batman is ridiculously good. You should definitely pick up the Graphic novel "Joker" that this was based on. Can't believe we are getting some sixth scale Bermejo!

Wow, what a stunning head sculpt, it’s enough to give you nightmares. At least the joker is very dapper in his purple and mustard coloured cloths while scaring everyone! That long jacket actually looks leather and finishes his ensemble off nicely. He looks Bad.

Thanks for this review! I was completely unaware of this kit and it’s nice to see Lee Bermejo’s art style getting some (unlicensed) love.
As a Joker, it looks suitably creepy and the inclusion of a whimsical gadget like Batman 89’s revolver cannon is really fun.
As Lee Bermejo’s Joker I’m afraid I’m not convinced at all. The head sculpt just doesn’t work for me. The expression is way too exaggerated and the smile is absurdly huge. Bermejo’s Joker is far more grounded in reality, very much Nolan/Ledger style, as you’ll discover when reading Joker by Azzarello & Bermejo. The Joker is barely seen in Batman: Noel.
Also the outfit is a mixed bag. The trench coat and black gloves are a perfect choice for the character. However Bermejo’s version favours a white shirt, orange vest, non striped purple pants and normal shoes. Think of a mix between the Arkham Origins and The Dark Knight looks.
So yes. Very nice Joker. I’m just not seeing Bermejo’s joker.
This is coming from an avid Batman comics reader and I did buy the Black & White statue of Bermejo’s Joker, which I feel is a better version. So my perspective is probably a bit skewed. 😁
On a side note, I’d personally pair a 1/6 Lee Bermejo Joker with the Tactical Batsuit version. Bermejo’s Batman has a more armoured/SWAT look and the helmet design (without goggles) is a good fit.
I guess the Pattinson Batman will serve as Phoenix Joker’s nemesis in my collection, whenever it’s released. 😄

It's incredible Daftoys dare to release a comic inspired figure and even better they did it so good. I can't wait to recieve mine and really hope they release more of these line. A Noel Batman or catwoman would be amazing!!!!

I'm going try buying the gun to kit bash with one of my Heath Ledger Jokers. Daftoys are doing really good with these kits. I pre-ordered the Daftoys Aldo Raine kit. Comes with two headsculpts. Really looking forward to it.

Those kinds of revolvers really exist they have a lot of kick back to them which can ruin your aim i used one before in a shooting range

Cannot believe how well this came out.
I’m a big fan of the graphic novel.
Looks like a Woolee Studio sculpt. Not sure if they have permission from the artist or not.
Daftoys did tease a comic Two Face from the same artist which looks amazing.
The gun and watch are a surprise as they aren’t in the comic but they’re nice little accessories.
Can’t wait for mine to arrive.

Honestly I wasn't that impressed, until I saw the pose of the Joker beside the broken brick wall, with the Pleather overcoat blown back by what would be wind.

I know this is an old video but i recently picked this up because of your review. Thanks for the top quality reviews, im new to collecting these but i love it. On the long barrel gun that i got the barrel is removable. Not sure if they are all like that though. Thanks again for all the reviews and keep up the awesome work!!

@@HahaHumon I bought from a private sale on Mercari. It came with two guns that are very similar and a long barrel and a short barrel. Both are removable.
I have the book with this joker and I always thought he had a purple coat I think this joker would look good in a purple trench coat or Evan a classic purple tailcoat

Lees Bermejos work is fantasitic batman noel is good but his comic titled Joker is one of the best stories revolved around joker and it has amazing art batman dammed is good as well

Simply beautiful, a great artist, a great story (comic), a great figure, I really hope that any 6th scale company continue with this kind of "line": (comics designer draws) with other artist (Kelly Jones, Mark Silvestri, Neil Adams, Greg Capullo, etc)

Quick question, it seems like you used a different body between this Joker and the Daftoys Dark Knight Joker. I can see there's a height difference between this body and the Heath Ledger one and I'm guessing using this body for the Heath Ledger version would result in the clothes being too short?

On the other hand, I don't remember a single Daftoys release, which wouldn't be a copy of something... I wouldn't be surprised, if this one from Justin's review is also someone's other work..
