I have the Pro 10. I have no handle issues and no rod holder issues. Put foam golf balls or scupper plugs in the underneath holes. As always, wear a PFD and tie or leach everything down.
Thanks for the tips, Mike! I think my kayaking needs could have been met with the Pro 10. I think a Pro 10 would have been easier to transport and fit a lot better in my garage compared to my Pro 12
I have the same.kayak and I love mine. I agree the flush rod holders are useless. They are there to force you to buy their rod holder accessory. I went to Wal-Mart and brought two flush mounted rod holders with closed bottoms. I installed them and now have two working rod holders. The side handles are useless as you stated. Perception should fix that. I wish they would have design the kayak for more legroom. A tall person is cramped in the kayak. While people love the seat, I prefer a lower seat like the ones in sit in kayaks. I feel more connect to the kayak with a lower seat. Overall I love my Pescador Pro 120 and would buy it again.
Could you tell me the rack set up you used for your vehicle I have a Subaru crosstreck 2019 and I’m trying find a rack for 2 kayaks like yours that are able go cross country
Tanner Dude I use the Malone Downloader Kayak carrier with the factory roof rails and factory cross bars for my Mazda CX-5. At highway speeds, the kayak has been stable and I do use rope to tie down both the bow and stern to my vehicle. I have two friends, one has a Subaru 2019 5-door Impreza and the other has a 2016 Subaru Outback, that use the factory rails and factory crossbars with a similar kayak carrier without any issues. The nice thing about the Malone kayak carrier is that it can be paired with the Malone Downloader to assist with loading and unloading your kayaks from the roof of your Subaru. Hopefully that helps.

Yes I can stand up on it. It feels similar to being on a stand up paddle board.
