No! This is definitely not boring! I've visited many commercialized caverns and love them, but this is beyond exciting! I'd love to see an undiscovered cave where ignorant people haven't destroyed it. Thanks for sharing and letting us see it.
Best cave yet! Amazing formations. You detailed them well. Definitely NOT bored with them! The other guys looked like NAP TIME was really close... You looked like you were ready to dive back in!
Very nice cave! 25 years ago my wife and I did allot of caving and mapping here in SW and South central Missouri. Took us back to the good old days... Being over 60 I thought my caving days were over. But if you old farts can do it I can too. Something to live for. Beautiful cave.
Honestly, you are the first TH-camr that makes me so excited when new videos are uploaded. You have inspired me to actually look around in my own area to find cool things and treasures. Thank you so much for uploading videos so often. :)
Thank you all for sharing your adventure. I could NEVER go into a hole in the ground like that but I'm sure glad you did and came back out safe! Happy caving!!!!! Stay safe!
This was AWESOME! It was really a jaw dropping experience from the comfort of my chair, but boy, I would have loved to have been along with you guys from the start.
You old guys are FANTASTIC! I am amazed and impressed, and so grateful to get to go along with you, at least in spirit! Since I am a very old gal, in questionable health, and therefore will nevermore have such adventures, it is lovely to share yours. The cave is incredibly beautiful and exciting, and frankly, I think you are all incredibly brave to go down there, and still quite fit to haul yourselves back out again. Kudos!
I would give just about anything to be able to go cave exploring again. Used to be a member of the NSS and got invited to go exploring in Russia but could not afford the trip. Just got out of hospital for open heart surgery and can't do much of anything yet, but hopefully when I recover I will be able to go back underground. Your videos are helping to keep me sane. Thank you Aquachigger and hope to meet you some day it would an honor.
I have watched your vids for a very long time and I don't regularly comment but I had to for this one. you guys did an amazing thing, you discovered your own cave not many people can say that. amazing content keep it up!
sherrie owen covering the entrance of cave could seriously damage a cave by changing airflow and moisture levels along with restricting introduction of organic matter. as a result this may cause any life existing in the system to die out, among other effects. caves are fragile ecosystems.
I absolutely LOVE the light shining through the stalagmite! That was just amazing. All the formations were great to look at, and most definitely not boring, but the way you lit up the one, was just so beautiful. What a fun thing to find a cave that is untouched, and not ruined by anyone.
Aquachigger, I love that you explain so much in your vids. I've learned so much I'd never know otherwise. I follow anything you do. What an AMAZING explore!! Y'all "done good"!
I jumped forward to the 12 minute mark and the knowledgeable guy with the purple helmet telling us about how long it takes for stalactites to grow, did he say about 100 years for an inch of growth? Interesting find you have. I live in the south of the UK and have only once been in the cave systems of Cheddar Gorge, these are limestone caves formed by water and are prehistoric in age with the usual stalactites and mites as well as a cave bears skull embedded in the ceiling area. It was a system with plenty of ducts and 1 sump, it took 4 of us 8 hours to go through because 3 of the light batteries failed. I'm slightly claustrophobic so I hoped that going into the caves would help my condition, it didn't. It's still fantastic going into places that few humans have ever visited.
I am halfway claustrophobic. My worst fear is being buried alive, so I couldn't handle crawling through a space where I couldn't turn around. I would love to explore a cave like that, though.
I lived near Karchner Caverns in Cochise County AZ for a number of years. Apparently it had been discovered and kept secret for twenty or so years, I hope this band of explorers obscured and keep secret the entrance to this newly found cave. Sad to think of the damage possible idiots might do.
I know what you mean, I found an awesome cave in northern AZ about 25 years ago. It required rappelling down about 100 feet from a small hole in the limestone. I made the mistake of showing a friend who showed someone...Eventually it was totally vandalized. Fortunately I took a ton of pictures in its pristine condition before showing anyone.
I have already Seen so many Exploration Channels but your is the best! Guys you take so much risks to show US so amasing places respeckt greetings from Germany
Wow absolutely beautiful I just happen to come across your page but wow I've never seen anything like this before thank you I enjoyed watching this.....
This is incredible. Finding relics is already amazing, but discovering a new cave!! congrats Beau, carry on being amazing :) I wonder how will that place be remembered in the future... p.s. you guys NEED to check for poisonous gas. Hope you did it off-camera, that could be very dangerous
The cave probably developed after the road's construction. The cave seems to be made of dirt, which erodes easily, so this dirt cave was probably developed very quickly.
How will you cover the hole to keep people from falling in? Does the state offer any protection for these sites? Keeping the vandals out might be a challenge, some people are such jerks!!
That was honestly seriously a beautiful unique crave yall found. Congratulations & thank you very much for going full cover to find out the full information on this cave.
There is a spring on my property where my Dad once lost a small dozer. After he got the dozer pulled out the spring moved 100 feet upstream. The hole he almost fell in is still there.I plan on exploring it soon.
Loved the "A Christmas Story" reference! Frageelea! Beautiful cave you guys found! First ones in, that had to be a rush. I am jealous, because I am claustrophobic and have trouble even getting under my own house to do repairs. Glad you left the bats alone. Most people don't realize that bats are as beneficial as bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Do wish you would wear a respirator. I know, how could you talk on your videos? But raccoon dung is very nasty stuff. Maybe you could overdub your cave videos? Anyway, it is nice to be able to cave vicariously through you!

Wish you would have at least said what state this discovery was made in. I used to cave with my mother, Toni Rowe, back in the mid '70s .(This was when we were both much younger. I was in my teens. I'm now 60) Anyway, Mom was a a member of the NSA and a member, newsletter editor of the Sierra Mojave Grotto, a local chapter of the NSA.. Someone even named a really shitty little hole in the ground cave after her, due to her work in caving and semi-fame in the caving community back in her day. She also worked on the first survey teams for Lilburn Cave in the Seqoias in California and I even went with her to work on a dig to find virgin cave. My boyfriend back then went on a Lilburn trip with her and discovered virgin passage which he got to name. We went on a trip to cave in the Carlsbad system cavers. I'll never forget THAT trip because I almost lost my young life in the very lowest level of The Cave of the Madonna.

I very much enjoy watching your videos. I know this is a lot of work for you, but you look like you have a good time with it. Thanks, Aquachigger !
Seems to me that if you got raccoons running in and out and they live long enough down there to "poop" at the far end, you probably do not need to worry much about the air being breathable. Smelly yes, breathable no. But the again, what do I know? I am just an old man!
Steven Roberts LOL 😂 that is so funny! My husband wants a man cave in our family room, maybe he can dig a cave under our house or in our back yard to let him have his own man cave too, lol the cave would keep there beers and soda’s cool 😎
Cool ,i always wanted to go cave exploring but i have claustrophobia so watching your vid was wonderful i actually got a bit anxious watching you guys.beautiful cave thank you.
Did you guys wear Air Quality Sensors? I know it says in the description you felt air moving through the cave but there could have been pockets of danger'es or deadly gas. They are not very expensive and easily purchased online. Plz be safe out there, if not for yourself for the ones that love you :D
Deadly gas occurs in old mines, mostly. Some natural caves can have pockets with higher densities of carbon dioxide, but usually if a breeze is felt that's not the case.
Ericca, canaries were used in mining practices, where there were real dangers of what is referred to as black damp from rotting wood or a unknown condition where a void of oxygen was immediately in from of them, they would put the bird cage on a pole and extend it in front of em while advancing. They would also use children to do this. A cave with natural ventilation is relatively safe from toxic gases, such as hydrogen sulfide, or ammonia. Methane if present, is not harmful, per-say but is quite explosive and I've never known any to be present in natural caves.
Imagine the untold stories of hidden crevices and caves that have yet to be discovered because it has not been dug up yet.
No! This is definitely not boring! I've visited many commercialized caverns and love them, but this is beyond exciting! I'd love to see an undiscovered cave where ignorant people haven't destroyed it. Thanks for sharing and letting us see it.

Aquachigger sounds like my Dad..... (the air blow)
what I don't understand is when the road was built why wasn't this cave discovered then or how the road stood so well that the road didn't cave in ?
Christina Travis I wondered the very same thing!
I know of a cave that runs underneath a major interstate.
ah but nore importantly did the cover up the netrance and make it safe so no one or animals could fall down there?
There are entire communities, some rather large in the coal belt that are built right on top of the mines.
The cave probably developed after the road's construction. The cave seems to be made of dirt, which erodes easily, so this dirt cave was probably developed very quickly.
Any experienced miners there?
