  • In this Solidworks Tutorial - Multibody parts we look at how you can use multibody parts in solidworks to create parts that share a common form but may need to be separate for manufacturing purposes.
    This video is aimed at everyone and anyone that may want to learn Solidworks.
    Firstly, we introduce the multibody part concept and talk a little about certain situations and processes that this is helpful.
    Secondly, we use the concepts and techniques shown in the previous videos and introduce an additional sketch tool - convert entities that uses model geometry to create sketch entities.

    Nice Video! I have a question. At 8:44 you shelled the black part into a thin layer so there is a hollow volume between 2 parts. How do I make the orange part taking the shelled shape so that the black part becomes kinda like a skin layer of the orange part?
