- We Found A WHITE LION | WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY in the KRUGER National Park | Episode 2
In this second episode about an epic 17-night trip to the Kruger National Park we spent 5 nights at Satara, 2 nights at Lower Sabie and 3 nights at Berg-En-Dal. Join me as I share the story about our incredible trip as we experience a very green and wet Kruger National Park and share the photographs I managed to capture along the way. All footage captured during the period of 16 December 2021 to 01 January 2022.

Great episode Mark .. I love the fog as I am a landscape/wildlife photographer also , the fog creates separation from cluttered backgrounds and creates mystery for the mind to think what is behind all the fog ! I agree with you on the animal sightings on bitumen roads with a paparazzi convoy on both sides of the poor animals .. which is personally for me not at all gratifying to witness or even contemplate photographing them at all ! Trying to avoid people is the challenge 😂😂😂🙈! Thanks for sharing your adventures , stay well !

Hi Sue, thank you so much for watching and for the comment. On my Nikon mirrorless camera, I’m able to switch between video and still with the flick of a button, so it’s incredibly easy to shoot both.

Fantastic footage! How did you go about shooting from inside the vehicle in the rain? Rain cover, towels, umbrella?
Appreciate the comment Leighton. I actually just had the camera out in the rain, but when I brought it back inside the car I wiped it down with a towel. The inside of the car also got a bit wet though, but it’s worth it for the shots. You could also use a type of cover for the camera for some protection.
You should be extremely proud of some of those images. I agree, sometimes a b&w conversion works really well and actually enhances the scene.
Would appreciate your suggestions for a 5 day visit first time visit to Kruger in October.
Appreciate that a lot Stephen! I am proud of those images. In my opinion, for a first timer I would suggest 3 nights at Satara and 2 nights at Lower Sabie. Two incredible areas for good game viewing.

No problem :) In my opinion there is no bad time to visit Kruger. In April / May you will have a great time. The bush is vastly different obviously from summer to winter, but all seasons offer something special.

Was that Casper or his cousin? I thought it was Casper but I couldn't be sure.
@@KatherineUribe-1 Casper has a white cousin too? If so, this might be him. The bit of rough on his nose doesn't look like recent sightings of Casper, does it? EDIT: yes, it is Casper, he has the same markings on the nose in another recent video.
All trophy hunters should be execute in the most gruesome ways.
