yes it is a lot of work to remove the intake manifold.I remove it in my prelude to rebuild the head and it's a pain to remove those nuts.good work buddy
Thanks so much for this video. I was going to remove the cylinder head to replace the head gasket on my 1998 Honda accord which basically has the same configuration. I started by taking the exhaust manifold and distributor off. Then I looked at the intake manifold and I said to myself how the hell am I going to get to those nuts from underneath and where are they located anyway. You explained it very well. Only someone who tries to do the same thing knows how useful your video is. I will try in the next few days and see if I can do it.
Im trying to do the same remuve the intake manifold.. cus is some carbon oil build inside the manofold.. justnto clean it..i start to use an oil cach can and every oil change it colets like an inch of oil .. but thanks for the advise.. if you wan to keep clean that engine cach can is goin to help you to doit .. good for h22 engine....installed betwen pcv valve and intake manifold..
Those bottom bolts under the runners... i got them from the bottom of the car... it was to pain in the ass trying to get it the way oem is set up with that curve.
I laughed so many times. this guy is funny. I like him haaha. But really good advice. I was trying to figure out if i would have to pull it off in 3 pieces or if i could pull off the entire thing haaha. "Look at this shit. It's just a bunch of bullshit" 😂😂 lmfao. I died.
the bottom portion is called the plenum. if you're just changing the gasket between the intake and head, why did you separate the plenum from the upper manifold. (didn't watch whole thing)
Here's a cookie. go make a post of your own and let the world judge u. Everyone learns and works at their own pace. Im sure u fell on your face a few times when u walked your first steps. To OP: We are who we are because of what we've learned in the past. Thanks for making the videos! Make me crack when you mention how much SHIT you have to deal with lol.
Lol i can get mine in and out in about 3-4 hours, you think your car is hard, try doing this on a type sh. even an oil change is a fucking bitch if you dont use a smaller filter.
Dude, you're doing a video! Where are your actions. You keep on saying, "do this, do that'. A picture is worth a thousand words. It would be better if you were actually doing the job while you speak. I'm not even sure if you pulled all those stuff down. 2-3 days only if you attend to it after you leave work.

you should clean your egr ports while the whole manifold is removed.
What would happen if I lost a grommet for one of the injectors and tried to turn the car on with out it?

Anyone know what the sensor to the left of his hand at 3:32 goes connected to or if it’s important?

What was the car doing before you replaced the gasket

Make sure it wasn't clogged or crack
Yes, it would be easier put how many people have an engine puller and not to mention how much more work your adding on.
And he said "deez nuts" 😂😂😂😂😂
