He is good ...I've heard him play jazz...he can play. But what he chooses to play...is "Elevator" "Waiting room" Music...hey its made him more money the John Coltrane or any other jazz great made when they didn't spend their earnings on drugs. Cant knock a guy who can play and make big$$$$
This is nice as a modern take by G but 'Tom' Jobim; the 'musical poet', was the ultimate maestro, while Getz added a cool but sophisticated, elegant approach to one of the best and most played Bossa tunes.
