This video is so very very well done. I am so happy that you and your daugher were able to see that exhibit. It was indeed a great one. Living only about an hour and a half from the Brandywine Museum, I have visited that musem many many times since the 1970's. I hope you and your daughter can get back again some time. The Fansworth Museum in Maine is also a great Wyeth place. Thanks again for the supurb video and happy painting to you and your daughter.
Great video, great trip. We had a small N.C. Wyeth show in Portland a few years ago. I'm a painter and wanted to stand about 1.5 inches away from the canvases. A friend of mine was the guard in the room at the Portland Art Museum. so it wasn't an issue. I was allowed to consume every layer, every brush stroke, ever nuance.
I love how your photos picked up the texture of the paint on canvas that reproduction does not always show. It is so obvious why illustrator Jeffrey Jones loved N.C.Wyeth. Thanks.
Says something about these artists that you wanted to see the paintings enough to come all the way up here. I wonder what was different about this exhibit, but I have visited the museum before.

I love your enthusiasm and respect for the work of N.C.W. He is my favorite artist too!

It was the vast number in the retrospective. I couldn’t pass up seeing 80 NC Wyeths!
F. Frazetta is as good
