- Join us we take on our first overnight sleeper train in India.
We started in Mumbai and moved up north to Indore, the journey took 12 hours, and it wasnt the most comfortable one.
We still had a good laugh and managed to get some good Indian food on the train

I dont understand this habit of foreigners choosing to travel in cheaper classes meant for working class people & then drawing comparison with costly European standards.
We’re travellers of course we are going to travel cheaply?
@@Alan_and_Shannon If u can't spend money, stop complaining!!
Bro the sleeper train rides is equal to your groceries if you want luxurious travels take ac express 2nd or first class , sleepers are budget friendly to most individuals in india
We took the 3A sleeper class, once the journey began and the AC went on it was a much more enjoyable journey for us Scots 🏴🤣
Please travel by flight, don't travel by train, we Indians are comfortable to travel in these trains, they are cheaper and safe for long distance travel,
Kindly don't compare and expect the comfort and luxury of your country, because we are 1.4 billion people, and we are just 77 years old country since independance, going by the standards, the railways and other transport facilities are well maintained, can you imagine if an European country having 250 million people and what would be the infrastructure.
However, welcome to India and enjoy the places, food etc.
Feel the warmth of the people , how they treat you with respect .
Carry happy memories, every city, state has a different food, language, culture, history explore it, you will be pleasantly surprised.
So far we have enjoyed experiencing how local’s travel around the country, we certainly did not compare it to our country as it would cost 20 times the price for a journey like that in UK. Unfortunately Alan being 6ft it wasn’t the most comfortable of journeys for him😅
We are already noticing a difference for each area it’s almost like they are all individual countries it’s crazy, can’t wait to explore more.
@@Alan_and_Shannonhe is not 6 ft he is taller than that we average indian now days 6 ft how come he is 6ft he is taller than us
he has bigger foot.@@rohankumarsahoo582
From next time remember to ask for Bill when you order food in train. Indian railways have a rule that says you don't have to pay if you don't receive Bill. That food by railway is for 80 and they are charging 150.
Ohhhh really? Thank you so much for informing us of this, we had no idea
OMG 😰 the condition of the train are far from pleasant & comfortable, what a nightmare journey
You get what you pay in India. They can book Maharaja Express for $28000 per person for luxury.
If you have some money then book on Vande Bharat train, Tajes train, Rajdhani train are very good train for long journey.. speed almost 150km per hour.
Wow that’s super fast, will check them out!
Take second or first AC man. 3rd AC is budget friendly option.
We definitely want to try one of these for our next overnight train experience, what sort of price can you expect to pay for first AC?
@@Alan_and_Shannon 1AC - 2.5x of 3AC.
Try Vande Bharat Express, Tejas Express, Rajdhani Express trains in India. These trains will give you comfort, safty and a nice ride.
Will check them out, thanks!
For curtains try AC2 and for cabin(4-2 people) with doors try AC1
Amazing thank you for this!!
Future sleeper trains are more comfortable .Next year vande sleeper coming😊
That’s exciting!!
Ordinary trains in China have the same distance and similar prices, but the experience is completely different. This train feels a bit expensive for India's per capita GDP, personal feeling.
It's not expensive. Normal people take this. First class is expensive. This is normal sleeper class.
It's not but we prefer cheaper 😂
Yes bcoz these trains are almost outdated and our government is trying to change all trains in up coming years with vande Bharat you can have look on those trains they are advance compared to this train
They removed curtains from AC3 and now its a glorified sleeper, try AC2 or 1 next. Expect to pay around 1000/- (10$) each as you go up a tier but even that depends if the train is under dynamic fare charting or regular.
You get what you pay for my dear.
Every train have options for AC and more spacious cabins as you pay more. Even most of the indians travel with AC tickets, why cant you.
I could visit your country, travel in the cheapest way and make a video saying "What a horrible experience "
We did book AC, it was more about the size of the bed compared to me
@@omojous9 we mentioned about the price and what it would compare to in our home country and said it was great value, especially the hot food served
The aisle beds are always narrower & shorter.
If you try sleeper-bus, sleeper train will be paradise.
@@Alan_and_Shannonexactly book a 2nd AC which has wider bed and dont book side lower and side upper seat(they are smaller in length.
People are really nice at least😊
Diarrhea Express departing
Omg!!!! Thats a journey beyond belief 😳food beyond bizarre lol
Certainly an experience!
You should take first class AC trains .not cheap trains.
Can we not do both?
@@Alan_and_Shannon of course as u wish
I don’t know why Indians complain about the problem he pointed out. If the train ticket says air-conditioned sleeper berths are not provided, of course they can complain. In addition, people who can travel around the world are not short of money and just want to experience the life of Indians.@@Alan_and_Shannon
Lol, take a few trips in Sleeper and Unreserved Class. Puts AC3 in a whole new light 😂
This train look like just so sad TT
What was the price in Thailand, if you divide per kilometer?
Bro why u r shooting 😂the bathroom its not smell great!😅😅
brave❤
Indian people are so nice. But imagine the smell on the train 😢
Nothing smell. Don't put your stereotype here😂.
European trains smell like beef.
Ouch
Yup🤣
😂
Rather you than me!
4:30 😅😅 its hole on the floor then shit on the tracks. Enjoy the moving restrooms
Not a great experience on a wobbly train🤣🤣
I think nowadays the shit does not directly fall into tracks. It is stored in chambers where bacteria furthur breaks it down and coverts it into water and then it falls
indore is not the tourist place, here is place you should defenitely visit andman nicobar island, udaipur , munnar, kochi , dont waste your your time in other places
We spent a few days in Udaipur, absolutely loved it!
@@Alan_and_Shannonyou should try other places which I recommended you will definitely love that also
❤❤
🥰
bad train but nice people
You two are so stingy. Going to cheap hotels and booking cheap trains and complaining about quality. Spend more money if you want everything perfect else stop complaining.
India has luxurious trains like the "Maharaja Express". The cost of the ticket is $28000 per person. You will have gym, bars, big soft beds, cafe, spa, libraries, swimming pool, all types of food like Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Western, etc.
Thanks for watching😃
Very negative vibes overall. Lots of complaining. Stingy people but still want royal treatment. Thumbs down!
Thanks for watching😃
Relax guys, I agree they are complaining and can spend more and get better rooms and better ride. I mean and average earning Indian won’t stay in this rooms.
I would suggest them to plan things and use apps for everything, India works better with apps.
Beautiful couple
OMG 😰 the condition of the train are far from pleasant & comfortable, what a nightmare journey
