Guy had a TV show but still mingles with everyone. Thats bad ass right there. Some guys get a big head and think they're better than everyone. I loved the show and love his channel. Looks like it was AWESOME. Thanks for the video

The girls into the rat rods..the best part of the show!
There you dont get people picking at your paint..or looking down the side of the car pointing out the filler or whatever...I hate that stuff...most spend way more time and $ into their classic car than it's really worth and then they wanna pick the flaws out on someone elses car..because they get jealous.
If a cars cool..it's just cool.
Still this type of show no one cares and they just enjoy the gathering.
It's just free will to build the car as ratty as you want and people see the creativity in it which intrigues them..thats really what hot rodding is.
How fun is that? There's a couple real ratty ratrods in that mix and it looks like everyone has a blast.

From one welder to another the stuff you do is just crazy they don't have nothing like that too much out here in Oklahoma me and my son used to watch the show all the time it just killed us when it went off the air then the other day come running to me and he's 17 now he says he can watch it on TH-cam I said watch what he said Steve Darnell welder up so I've been watching you non-stop getting caught up it's people like you that make something in this world I was welder for 30 years just retired last year I started out in the steel business Deliverance steel for quick service steel I'm not near the welder you and your guys are so keep it coming good luck to you love your stuff rat rod King

My brother's friend bought a 68 OHC 6 Firebird, new. It would hang with a 327, 275 HP, Nova, or Camaro. Pretty rare cars today.

What a cruise ! Just unbelievable for me, this type of cars does not exist en France. They are all amazing !
Furthermore our cars have to pass a technical control every two years for pollution and security points especially. Almost none of your cars, especially yours could pass it, its smoke is a test killer :+)
Does this mean you have no car control in the USA ? Or really less les less severe ? The dream for car lovers... a threatened species... .Go on sharing !!!

Edit: thanks for taking time to respond. I respect the craftsmanship and quality welding that is in every build. Built cow lots and barns with grandfather thru high school. Using old Dc Lincoln with finicky circuit board you could blow out in a second. Then he would blow out lol. Respect the work with you and your boys.

57 Bel Air is the reason why I got into welding. I just don’t want one. I want rebuild it myself.
The 57 Chevy is my favorite. Keeping the patina as I have found them is part of the fun but doing crazy stuff under the hood is the greatest reward. Thanks for watching Gabriel!

Thanks for sharing guys, so much inspiration. If only we could do half of what you all do here in Australia, the laws for vehicle modification are so much stricter here.
So far we Rat Rodders have not been shutdown. We are all licensed, smog tested and inspected and insured. We had a great run. Lots of fun with my fellow Rodders. Thanks for watching
The Rat Rod scene is alive and kicking in Australia, what I meant is that some of the crazy and cool things you do to cars we simply can't due to safety restrictions, we'd not be able to pass the registration inspection. Well, that's for those of us that take safety into consideration. I'm sure there's rodder's that make changes after inspection that wouldn't get passed.

So I live in ND and it's farm truck city I see a couple hundred a year get crushed. I just got a 50 Chevy with tilt bed first year of 2ton with lift bed 1000 bucks all the floors are good I would love to bring it to you !!
