Haha this is exactly what i was looking at the comments, glad to see this comment at the top. Really made me realize how different my mindset was and it made me feel bad.
Haven’t held a magic card in a decade… The last game I played was in magic 2015… but I haven’t missed an lvd video in years and it’s for reasons like that
game 3 reminds me of the first time I saw a mutate deck going off, although back then my opponent mutated so much that he actually milled himself out, he was so confident that he will win but I ended up surviving a full swing just barely and won by simply looking at him for a few minutes. good times
LVD, Grace & Wisdom - Creature - Human Cleric. This spell can’t be countered. When LVD, Wisdom & Grace enters the battle field, you get a emblem with “You can view cards your opponent would play before they play them” 😂
gingerbrute may be a good addition to the deck. i just think it works good once you have graaz out since it can become sorta unblockable and its also a cheap artifact to sac to trash for treasure.
Juggernauts were actually feared back in the day. 4 generic mana for a 5/3 was a fantastic "rate" (not we had that term, then). And people actually played walls, so the Juggernaut bypassing walls was relevant. Good times!
my first deck was blue/black aggro. Invisible, unholy strengthed, unstable mutated juggernauts. Any time I see Juggernauts get played, hits me right in the memories
The enemy deck in game 5 is fun! Yeah, milling your whole library and winning with Jayce is an icredibly boring finish, but it gets respect for being a singleton deck.
They cast two, one at the start that hit big and got rid of his opening trash for treasure. And a second at the end that missed just seeing a land in hand.
These were some really weird matchups. I guess this wasn't the ranked queue so that is more expected. The last opponent seemed like someone trying to complete the "Kill X creatures" quest.
Typically don't want to damage your own Obliterator whereas you do want to damage your Brash Taunter, so they go in different decks. Vindicator on the other hand would go in the same build as Taunter, similar to the Capridor.
Who else just tunes out as soon as Ugin hits the board? It's such a ridiculously boring card that I skip straight to the next game. I don't even care if LVD wins, I'm just not invested any more.
"always fun to see the opponent go off" is such a refreshing take. Thanks for being wholesome, Luca.

it's easyier to have that opinion when you have cards to play with and build decks with. Not so fun when f2p

Your channel and CGBs are my faves. Totally different energy and style, but I watch you both EVERY day.
Thank you!
@@LegenVD very welcome! Keep up the great content!
that mutate deck looked crazy! I need one of those for sure.
You pretty much saw their whole deck if you need a list 😄
@@LegenVD true enough!
I'm no English major but "unstoppable" and trample/indestructible go hand in hand. He's so unstoppable he gets chump blocked by insect tokens
Cool deck. Props for letting the opponent pop off. Thanks for all the content.

Okay Luca, Imma need this on a "Women want me. Fish fear me." hat but "Phyrexians want me. Walls fear me." instead LOL
Match 2 just shows the power of faithless looting! You being able to keep that one land hand! :D
That mutate deck was great, hopefully that mechanic returns sometime to give us more cars to play with.
Like Fords or Chevy. Maybe even a Tesla!
Cars are non-human creatures after all
@@ryanbolson23 lol, missed a d.
@@Muertoloco13 you’re good, I’m just taking the piss haha

Happy Sunday is a Sunday with a new legenvd vídeo
You simply cannot defeat Luca. He wants YOU to win as well. Such a wholesome person. You're the best man!!!
Saw the Modern version of this deck and was really interested. Curious how much better its going to be once Ragavan comes to Arena.
And get banned right away lol
In historic, you have access to the white 4 mana artifact revival spell. To add redundancy to Trash for Treasure.
Refurbish is indeed an option!
Fun deck. I want to squeeze in Gleeful Demolition, which has wonderful synergy with both Graz and Darksteel Citadel.
Surprisingly effective AND flexible.
2:27 I get a good laugh out from this.
And also match2 mulligan xD
I saw this deck get posted online and have been wanting to build it on arena ever since
LVD for President ❤️

How far back we talking? I first played during Mirrodin Beseiged and I never saw them then
like the late 90s so 25 years ago

@@jamespatterson5644 To this day I still have no idea what's going on in the art on Unstable Mutation. 😂
I ran into this in BO3 on the ladder today and thought it seemed a bit spicier than the average off meta brew

What a deck!
I'm surprised that the 0/1 goblin with trample that grows in power with oil counters from ONE isn't in the deck
14:52 am i remembering the match wrong, when Legend says "despite a lot of hand disruption" but the opponent only cast one seize right?
He cast 2

@@G03LIN youre right, i forgot the second one that actually went on LD's advantage
Worst picture ever on that Faithless Looting.
commenting to keep the non-standard formats going!
Da para fazer uma versão Boros no formato padrão.
Everytime lvd says synthesize he reminds me of giorgior

I resemble that remark! 😃
Walls hate this Trick 😈
Would a Black/Red Obliterator/Brash goblin work?
Typically don't want to damage your own Obliterator whereas you do want to damage your Brash Taunter, so they go in different decks. Vindicator on the other hand would go in the same build as Taunter, similar to the Capridor.
Sees deck, likes deck, makes deck... first opponent...... turn 3 greasefang into angel jumbo jet. 😆
Hey Luca,
For how long are you into MTG?
First booster I opened was Darksteel in 2004.
Can ya dig it? I knew that you could
Props for Not playing Fable
Do we say second?
I assume best of one, plat/mythic has more graveyard hate and thus makes this deck less favourable.
Yeah, don't think it's quite competitive enough for the ladder.
Anti wall-might build

Would saying
“I’M THE JUGGERNAUT, BITCH!”
be a little too predictable?
It's juggernauts
They are made to be predictable
too much monored lately
First
"we're on the draw/play" is a verbose way of saying "I play/draw" for the sake of trying to sound cool. 🤣😂
Always fun to see mutate have fun.
But then they ruin it playing Ugin and making me very sad.
