- We might have visited many temples. After taking God's blessings, the journey to the temple will be complete once we get to taste the prasadam (offering to God). While we may not get a chance to taste the prasad regularly, here is Brahmana Prasadam, where we get a chance to taste it every day. Started in mid-2022 that has become the talk of the town serving authentic Brahmin-style food.
Located next to Banashankari BDA complex 2nd Stage, opposite Domino's Pizza, aims to bring back the traditional foods that are lost in the fast-moving world. They want to revive the traditional foods that are being forgotten by people.
The menu at Brahmana Prasadam gets changed every day. They offer a variety of authentic foods and they are offered to God (naivedya) before being served to the customers. Among the fast moving items are sweet pongal (rice dish), kara (spicy) pongal, different types of Puliogare (tamarind rice), Rasayana (medley of fruits, honey and jaggery), Panchamrutha (mix of 5 foods), buffalo milk pudding, Udupi Coconut porridge (Kayi ganji) and others.

It is a family business and Brahmin's Prasadam owners say they are not preparing any new dishes but just reviving old ones.

Opens at 8am and closes by 10.30am. On weekends shop will close early.
