@The_BenboBaggins I was wondering where you were since I knew you were doing laps I'm TT. I was so bored by the last lap i did it over a second slower than my fastest.
Yeah I can imagine at the front its even more dull. I did laugh a a couple of streamers who got frustrated in the traffic starting at back and set fast quali times to start at front and drkve off into distance instead and im thinking "you think that's more enjoyable for your audience"
@wombleleaderracing6455 I've seen them doing that. This could of been a really good race. All they had to do is add 2 or 3 laps and enable weather. Make it rain PD.
I remember it was used 2 weeks in a row for 5 lap daily race A races around Suzuka and Nurburgring. They took about 12 mins and was perfect for daily race A and a lot of fun.
The grid start and damage is excellent, but on a track with no over taking, you know what's going to happen in lower lobbies - Carnage. As always, thats for the guide mate.
Cheers Villan. Yeah I like the grid start and damage as well...its the shortness thats the real killer fir this one although even then it would be pretty stale so addition of a pitstop/weather/fuel tyrewear was also needed.
Weeks like this make me feel sorry for the guys who stream GT full time. Imagine having to race these garbage picks for hours on end every day. I haven't raced since St Croix in December, which was one of my favourites of last year.
@@wombleleaderracing6455 I’ll have to drive it again, but the car felt really slippy to me, with little lateral grip. In general, PD’s road car physics makes the cars too loose imho (the Maserati at RBR had no grip, though that could’ve been the tires).
Fifteen minutes... Yeah thats disappointing but should have been a fun little combo. Road cars doing any form of tire wear or fuel on these cars would almost require 10+ multiplier if the small amount of mx-5 testing I have done fits similar spec cars. Heavy damage shouldn't be turn too many away... but I could see what bad incident turning this race foul :( 1hr later Edit: Was watching a streamer do this, and if it was 18-20 laps a fun little nations cup race... but if this is a race I enjoy, why would I not just do this on iRacing where a small little series like this is 13 weeks long?
15 laps of Autopolis short course, random weather and maybe even SS at x5 wear in this car and you have a great little races reckon with better overtaking chances, unpredictable weather and enough wear to feel the tyres towards end of race. Why not iracing? Dealing with PC, gaps in races, looks crap, cost to run all 13 races at least 150 quid...I actually quite like iracing but thats what put me off it!
The last part wasn't directed at anyone, the thought had occurred to me that most of Sport mode is tailored to GT/Prototype classes that if people went looking to drive other vehicles in GT7... A) Look through lobbies hoping to find one-make stock races to join, which may have already started (😠) B) Find a league (either know someone or search threads for an active league) around cars you'd like to drive C) Find a different sim that can be tailored to that experience Daily A can fit the bill, but because the car selection and quality of racing can be random. Paying for a month of PS+ when a daily (or nations) race like this comes around just seems quite silly when I think about the structure other sims have.
It truly baffles me...we were talking on stream about whither its a culture issue in Japan where you don't question other people/bosses decisions because theres no way someone on the dev team doesn't look at this race and its setting and think it going to be terrible...but maybe they can't speak up.
Holy mother of shyte. There appears to be a strategy, Womble, it’s to turn people off Daily C. Don’t mind the car or track choice but 1x 1x wtf. Autopolis needs strat/weather to make it interesting. Even a fuel saver would have given it something. I’ll continue with league races: competitive, clean, longer races, strategy. I understand that doing these may not be as good for your channel but the races are different level. Hoping ofc that Daily C picks up again, and there will be a meaningful update to address at least some of the many open issues 🤞
It must just be me, but I still don't think the lobbies are stable enough. And looks like the daily race connections are not as good as they were. Hopefully they fix it over the next year. But League races were always a better place for better racing I found. As you know the drivers you are racing with each week. Good luck on your league racing!
👍🏾 for league racing, I joined a Tuesday night GT3 RS series this year. The race is an hour long and I spend my limited spare time doing practice sessions rather than wasting it on dailies.
@@GopherCR Thanks Andy! The lobbies are mostly very stable with a good host, but every now and then they are laggy unfortunately. The past couple of weeks have been shaky but prior that they were solid for a good 6 mths at least

Honestly i was bored doing this race this morning. Ive stayed up all night to be rewarded with the most boring race PD could conceive of.
I got disconnected 22s from the 7am lobby, I'm a little bit grateful for it tbh - it's really dull to watch too...

This car was used for a Daily A a long time ago at one of the Maggiore tracks. I only remember it because I was purposely making horrendous liveries.
I remember it was used 2 weeks in a row for 5 lap daily race A races around Suzuka and Nurburgring. They took about 12 mins and was perfect for daily race A and a lot of fun.
Shame about the car choice but I do like the idea for heavy damage and grid start.
Yep both plus points for me as well
A complete hit and miss this one!
Perfect week for doing laundry instead 😃
PD need someone to do quality assurance on their races before they release. Il take C, you take A....B? Who cares its pointless 😆
I knew when the type of tyre was released that I would be doing other things through the week, oh well 😯🤔
Tbf the car on SS is nice to drive and you can have some fun in the race but its just to short and stale.
Yep, it's as dull as fuck. Did it once. Won't go back. Thanks as always for the content, Womble.
Seems to be a general concensus Timmy lol.

Cheers Womble, I totally agree with you.
Like deployed 👍
Good
I can go to the Office for working, or i can drive a Polyphony Digital Online Race, both got the same feeling....See u nxt week, maybe...
Can't PD just sell the game to a studio that cares? Tks for not giving up after all this dailies
Tbh just one person who cares and has knowledge is all it takes to fix these issues....I have contacted PD and offered my services.
@@wombleleaderracing6455 I wish they swallow their ego and give you a part time job or something to help us all. Honestly would be much appreciated 🙏
Looks like I’m skipping another week of daily race C and just focusing on the Nations Series and Time Attacks.
Its reasonable fun for the 14 mins the race lasts tbf but it will get stake very quickly for most people.

Yep I can sympathise tbh...its one of many reasons I couldn't do it full time as nothing worse than watching someone race for sake of racing.
You must be loving this womble
Well it makes it easy to do the guide at least 😆
Thanks 👍 Womble
A least heavy damage means cleaner racing ,in my experience anyway.
Must admit standards were pretty good on my stream today bar the occasional mad defender.
Doubt the Gr86/BRZ would need assists irl. It’s the crappy road car physics and tires w/no grip in the game.
Tbh the SS have loads of grip but the rear does like slip...it very controllable though so good fun to drive.
