    I usually take NJ transit buses from PABT either from the 200 series gates or the 300 series gates.

    Next time you drive past our Coach USA gates...401 - 410 check out that wall behind us. the PA was built for 35 footers and even 40 footers. Now that we all mostly have 45s, it's makes our jobs very very hard. Cut it too soon, your front mirror hits the bus on your right, cut it too late, the tail swing phucks you up LOL!

      I'm working on an episode of Dream Fleet for Coach USA. Besides the J4500s, what other models are in their fleet?

    I'm curious about the PABT, how does the 4th floor South Wing layout compare to the 3rd floor? Are there no gates in the South Wing on the 4th floor (where you start from)? Maps would seem to indicate that there are no 4th floor gates, so I imagine it's either just a perimeter driveway around mechanical rooms, or a giant layover area.

      4th floor is smaller. The layout is nearly identical.

    I hate driving in there, it's a whole road test in there, especially during rush hour. PAPD don't make it any easier when they wanna block shit off randomly.

    Judging by the turning sounds, is that a NABI 416?

      @@BottomLin3Op Wow. I didn't know that they installed it on the Cruisers. I head to Journal Square every week and I always hear it on the NABIs. Either way, thank you.

    One thing is certain. All these guys seem to always be speeding and none of them obey the speed limits. I always wonder what is the rush with these drivers? And what a freakin maze that place is. I wouldn't ba able to find my way out of there if you paid me. so much dark and confusing traffic ways there in the Port Authority. Who knows where to park and when? Gosh. been driving for 22 years plus and I'd never want to take my bus or truck anywhere near inside that place.

    • @dj__projects
      @dj__projects 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Robbi D, the drivers that usually go through the Port Authority are probably used to it. As for disregarding the speed limit, that becomes common if you're used to the conveyance and develop a level of confidence.

    ive never been near this bus terminal but dang port authority looks like it is horrible getting in and out of that place.but i dont mind seeing the buses though thats always cool i enjoy seeing all these motor coaches.how do the bus drivers know which floor to park on because of so many buses that go in and out of the terminal ?? you are so lucky being able to drive these MCI coaches im so jealous hehe.I dont know why but i started laughing like the other people in the comments when i saw your description as well ahaa

    • @BottomLin3Op
      @BottomLin3Op  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mado when you learn the terminal and the lines you do they have assigned gates various times of the day. Midnight hours your could be in the basement. Njt most of the gates are on the 3rd and 4th floor and overnight in the basement.

    • @mado3623

      +D3Andr3 oh ok now I get it that makes much more sense.I bet you enjoy driving those nice commuter coaches it looks so hard making those turns in my opinion but I wouldn't mind driving a bus someday it looks extremely fun.

    • @BottomLin3Op
      @BottomLin3Op  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mado once you do it everyday it becomes natural. You just have to remember your driving a 45ft bus, and cant become complacent.
