Respect to Markus, he's a favorite as well but Zeb is expanding snowboarding in an amazing way. Also Dusty's double front flip was so sick!
Yeah Zeb shoud've gotten top 3 atleast. Like, I know he skipped a whole run to switch boards, but cmon.. Zeb killed that! AMAZING event though! Everyone shredded it Kleveland is INSANE🔥🔥🔥🔥
He must've been 3rd up until Dusty landed the double in his last run for sure. I don't know how they're ranking it, but if it's style points out of 30 or more, a run not ridden is a big toll on the overall scoreboard as it's not best run, but overall impressions. Kleveland is just a beast though, he just makes it happen. Super fun event to watch!
@@minecraftgod12 wouldnt say his runs arent "fun" or "creative", as hes definitely one of the most creative when it comes to this, and that alone adds a fun factor to his runs. however.... smooth? no. no way, not even close. all his runs he looks as if he woke up mid air from a bad dream, and his landings are sketchy in all but maybe one of these runs, yet again. was the same deal last competition too, he never really appears as if hes fully in control if you compare it to the other medalists.

So everyone can kinda relate to the bouncy feeling, and it kinda brings you back. I think that might have something to do with it. I used to love spinning on those things!

The needs to be a comp that’s 100% judged on: -Hype/Energy -Style/Excision -Creativity/Innovation (Cuz like back in the days of any trick sport, the people who do a trick for the first time ever never get rewarded because it’s hard to judge I guess or it doesn’t count as a “trick” lol BUT I WANNA SEE DUDES PUSHIN THE LIMITS OF SPORTS [beyond technical difficulty/rotations/“perfection” xgames…. XtremeGames should be about XtremeFUN

I feel this year they didnt focus as much on creativity, the "best" trick isnt always the most exciting to watch and thats why the knuckle huck has done so good. If they start trying to go off of competition "best" people like zeb and fridge are gonna be robbed of that podium finish and more than likely this too will turn into another spinning contest and lose its allure

Miles should’ve got some recognition I feel like everybody was just reusing and doing variations of tricks that already have been done in past years but I think miles was the only one being truly creative
Knuckle Huck restores my love of winter freestyle. It's not a lame repeat of who can spin the most times around with a lame grab, this is original, fun and downright gnarly! Love it!

Go back and watch Marcus's winning run and tell me there was a better trick on display that night. There wasn't. Judges knew it too, and the judges are all professional snowboarders themselves.

Got to meet Zeb at a rail jam event at my school, dude is so awesome and down to Earth I was rooting for him the whole time and was shocked he didn’t make the podium. I also love that he never EVER rides with goggles on his face
previous experiences showed clear fan favorites in these competitions (a certain somebody winning by doing "double frontflip superman" a few years back comes to mind) so without even seeing their tricks you know whos gonna win that
I find it hard to really say who I personally think deserves what for this. Each and every person just throwing their imagination to the wind and going with it, they're all so worthy of gold. Be it Marcus' insanely clean, precise and downright ridiculously impressive tricks and Zeb's inhuman ability to just seemingly warp gravity around him to throw together some of the most ludicrous, physics defying and creative tricks out there that I have ever seen just makes the knuckle huck comp so much harder to judge whilst never getting stale. It's creative freestyle snowboarding at its finest in my honest opinion.
I would love to see another contest like this where its just one simple object or rail where the riders have to come up with the most creative trick they can on a simple set up.
How do they score this event? Dusty had best trick, and Zeb is still most knuckle huck. Kleveland was the safe Gold it seems. Great event but, fill us in.

We actually need to have a talk about how 90s-2010s video games became the 2021-2022 x games tricks. It was said with the bmx events in 21 and i think about it every time I’m watching x games now.
