Hi get the surface ready by ding your usual cutting and polishing methods then do a surface prep using water and alcohol mix 70/30 then apply pro grade ceramic coating like gtechniq marine for best results. When you put the polymer sio2 first it won’t alllow a good bond with a real solid coating that comes in say a 50ml or 100ml bottle.
And yes always use a light ph neutral Soap and if you wanna make the ceramic work it’s best you can top it with a sio2 based spray sealant every few months. Also every 1 year or so do a light acid wash like venom from starke yacht care that will remove the contamination and keep the coating working like it should
Can you compound heavy, medium, light, prep surface with dawn then polymer Sio2 and then ceramic over? Then always use Ph neutral soap?
