I know that there has been some serious editing over the entire project, and that can't have been easy. However kudo's to those editors because the essence of good friends and good men and women who worked those many hours, through thick and thin, really comes through in every episode. Thanks all!
Ben is more than a great addition to your shop. Knowledgeable, always busy, can trouble shoot like I have never seen just an all around good hand. Worth his salt

The smiles on everyone's faces, shows pride in their accomplishment, and soon to gift a wonderful man his mini Tonka 4x4. I've met Ed, pics with him and told old man stories. Wish I could be there at the surprise ending.

The collaboration of everyone involved in restoring Ed's 2 treasures, the Nugget and the Rokon, has been phenomenal. Great job all around. Can't wait for the epic reveal with Ed.

This Journey of Fab rats historic build of the Golden nugget has been a pleasure to watch from start to almost finished! What a fabulous build from the village it took to make this happen and then to give it back to an Icon with a wealth of knowledge a man who will forget more then we know! I can hardly wait till you give it back! I believe it will be the best segment! Thanks everyone who has made me smile...

Happy to see the Nugget in the final stages! I also like how Paul will help encourage each of his kids in how to fabricate and solve their problems and get something back to running. Young adults not trying to master the next video game and out scrounging the dump for cool stuff is a win in my book.
I really noticed that also !! I also consider that a huge win !! Very few young people have the know how to build / fabricate anything. It has to be taught.
Every one that has a hand in the restoration of the Golden nugget should be very proud.

These kids have no idea how lucky they have to have this full shop at their disposal. What i would have done to have access to a place like this as a kid.
Everyone has done an outstanding job on the Nugger and the Rokon. Watching the videos about the recovery, I couldn't imagine how y'all were going to restore it for Ed. Everyone went above and beyond.
One of the greatest things when in the shop is scaring the crap out somebody with the horn. A good horn check can make a day great.

I been watching the "Golden Nugget" from when you pulled it from the mountains, I can't wait to see Ed's face! You guys all rock! Trailer, Bike, and all! It's going to be the best video ever! You should have shown more of the little chickens. They are awesome!

When the hood has everyone's signature on it, it should be clear coated the sharpie ink will fade pretty quick.

should use a piece of "clear" wrap, clear paint might bleed the sharpie ink!
My daughter paints rocks and has found that clear coat will make Sharpie run and dissolve. Robby Layton may have an answer to this problem.
They sell high temp sharpie ink. We used it on Boeing aircraft assemblies

We NEED more random projects like the gocart along side the big projects. It's always entertaining too see something that was thrown out and "broken" getting fixed and running :)

You all need to put together a edited full rebuild video from start to finish. so Ed can see what all went in to the full build of this project. Get all the people together that had anything to do with the build and have a big lunch meeting and give Ed his Nugget and Rokon and trailer. then let him watch the video on TV while he eats his lunch. But make sure you post it all online so we can all see the video, and I can't wait to see Ed's face when he see's what you all have done. All of you are a great bunch for doing this for Ed.

It's getting closer to the reveal for Ed's golden nugget, Rokon and Rokon trailer! After all these hours of working on this project it's finally getting done! Robby said he has to get the Rokon and trailer back for a July reveal so July must be the delivery time. We've been waiting for a while for this so thanks to all involved in this project!
I like the distraction of the boys and their projects, Poppa Dar's cameo and different family mambers coming and going's. Real life stuff

I've been binge watching this channel for the last 6 months sense I found it.. and I just wanted to say thank you Paul/Michelle and the fab rats crew for the awesome and wholesome content. I've been building homes for 15 years and could build you literally anything but I've always dreaded/paid for mechanic work. I gotta say tho, I'm feeling pretty inspired to start tinkering on and building rigs with my kids as they grow and to learn another trade. This channel rocks and I hope the best for you and your family's

Great work. But more than that, I love how in pretty much all of your videos, even if you're in the middle of working on something, you'll take the time out of your day to go check out or help the kids figure out whatever project they're working on and encouraging and teaching them along the way.

really enjoy the simple in house video production, rather than having to dance to the tune of a production company or a tv channel. Its a delight to see the whole family getting involved in the engineering, everything from lego to motorcycles to the golden nugget. Too many good motor shows have been killed off by the pressures of someones else's demands and time lines. s
This little thing is looking amazing. I would hate to be the guy footing the bill for this restoration. The man hours, parts, shop hours, this little jewel is priceless and that doesn't even include the Rokon and custom trailer. Everyone involved is truly a blessing from Jehovah.

I've been following every second of this recovery and build across every channel that has been involved. I feel like a little kid at Christmas waiting for Ed to finally see it. Seeing it finally running is like Christmas Eve.

I feel like jace is the spitting image of Paul. They have the same vibe and energy. Jace has that cool guy vibe like Paul does and it’s very cool to see. Paul is a great father to all his kids, he makes them work for it. Much respect!

Just outstanding. I hope to see this in person someday, however, I'm taller than Paul and could never get my legs and head to fit. Can't wait to see Ed's reaction to the package. It's going to be a life changing event for Ed. I expect SEMA to want to have this build on display and rightly so. I think the Utah Derby boys have outdid themselves and I thank you all for sharing a lifestyle that so desperately needs promoted.

This whole project has been the best kind of fun! I'd only just discovered Matt's Off Road Recovery maybe two or three days before the video of the Nugget being pulled to freedom was posted, ever since I've been glued to the screen every time I see a new video from one of the amazing shops that are working to make this thing real. I can't wait to see Ed's face when it's all ready to go, he seems like such a genuinely wonderful person and I truly wish I could come and meet him myself. You guys rock!
