- How To Make Murgh Cholay | Chicken Chickpea Recipe | Murg chole (lahori Special)
This is a dish that combines chicken and chickpeas in a flavourful sauce resulting in a finger-licking curry that goes well with naan, parathas or rice.
INGREDIENTS
1 Large Chicken
800g Chick Peas
2 Medium Onions
2 Tomatoes
1 Ginger & 5/6 Garlic (Grind To Paste)
4 Tablespoon Plain Yoghurt
1 Tablespoon salt
1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
Quarter Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
Green Chilli (For Garnish)
Sliced Ginger (For Garnish)
Handful Fresh Coriander
Half Cup Oil
Ingredients to make garam masala
1 Piece Cinamon Stick
1 Aniseed
1 Black cardamom
4 Whole Red Chilli
Quarter Teaspoon Carom Seed (Ajwain)
Quarter Teaspoon Baking Soda
4 Clove
Quarter Teaspoon Whole Black Pepper
Half Teaspoon Whole Coriander Seeds
Half Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
1 Piece Mace (Javitri)
3/4 Green Cardamom
3/4 Bay Leaves
