X-Men Wolverine Cal Dodd Interivew at his 1st Convention Appearance | Evantainment Archives

X-Men '97 and X-Men The Animated Series Wolverine voice actor Cal Dodd talks to Evantainment at the 2018 Ontario Collectors Con in Mississauga Ontario. Cal Dodd discusses becoming Wolverine, the path to becoming a voice actor, how he created the voice for Wolverine, the Previously on X-Men book by Eric Lewald, and meeting live-action Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman. Cal Dodd also says that he almost had another career path as an accountant or a Phys Ed. teacher, but he and his brother Rory pursued careers in music. Rory Dodd is well known for singing the duet on Bonnie Tyler's version of Total Eclipse of the Heart and background vocals on many Meatloaf songs.
But back to Cal - aside from the voice of Wolverine, Cal Dodd's voice has been heard in many cartoons including Beyblade, Care Bears, Jacob Two-Two, Bob & Margaret, Ruby Gloom, Little Bears, Braceface, Max and Ruby, The Adventures of Chuck and Friends, Grossology, The Adventures of Tin Tin, Rupert, Mr. Meaty, Numbchucks, Ned's Newt, Gerald McBoing Boing, Jimmy Two Shoes, and The Berenstain Bears.
He is also Rip Rockefeller in the Rescue Heroes TV series and movie, as well as the voice of Slappy, and the theme song voice over in Goosebumps, and a Doozer in the episode Doozer is as Doozer Does in Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock.

I remember seeing his website in the early 2000s and wondering which cons he was going to be at. I couldnt find any info on signings or con appearances. Makes sense because his first ever was 2018!
