Love this breakdown! Other than Turkmenistan, did you do tours in any of the other countries or did you explore them on your own? Is there a certain amount of time you recommend in each country?/budget? Thanks!
Super helpful video! I've been thinking of places to travel for my first ever solo holiday and this was great. I love how you get straight to the point and talk about your own experiences without a lot of the fluff that a lot of travel channels have. Definitely subscribing
Visited Almaty for about 3 days was shocked by the city ( in a good way) can't wait to explore Uzbekstan ,Tajikistan, turkmenistan, kyrgyzstan next month thanks for the information PS: The Kurt almost ended me
Great video - I’m doing a 5 Stans tour later this year and this is getting me hyped. Any tips about what to wear? I’ve heard some are pretty conservative. And any items you bought you’d recommend bringing on a trip?
Thank you so much. I would say it’s not super conservative. But good to always cover shoulder and knees. Good to bring a scarf to cover your head when you visit the mosques.
I'm planning on moving to central asia... my ex was from kazakhstan and i love the culture of the region... Which was your favorite country? Like wish seemed more vibrant and that you could see youself living in.
How was it finding vegetarian food in these countries? I’m considering visiting central Asia (mainly Tashkent) but I’m worried about finding any food as a vegetarian 😵💫
Great vid! Did you find it hard to eat while out there? Im veggie and am planning a trip across the Stans so wondering if it will be difficult to find good food or not

Calling our countries “stans” is a little disrespectful. Each country has its own name and together we’re called Central Asia.
I’m from Central Asia and I find this nickname cute 😭
Can you explain why it’s disrespectful?
@@nar3947 It’s like calling America with a nickname ‘rica’
