    i fight almost 3 months with supports, and 2 weeks ago i find the perfect support config, its very hard because much of the info dont works for different factors... thanks for explain simple and direct how to supports works! amazing channel, brilliant video!!!

    I have tried quite a few slicers through the years and as of late, I am using Orca the most. I find tree slim supports work well. Now i find the thing that also affects supports is the printing temp. I will sometimes print a bit hotter when needing layer strength but as a result the supports are harder to remove. It will ultimately depend on your model, overhangs, if it is a functional part etc. Thanks for the video

      I will try to experiment with the temp and see what it does. So many settings to try.

    Great videos, I have big problems removing the supports, I also found a configuration with excellent results with the Creality filament, the problem is the printing time, really slow, then I tried the Gtmax3d filament with the same setting and the result is horrible, now either it's the filament, or I have to change the whole configuration

    I always paint the supports by hand and then leave 0.2 for separation. I have never had any problems and the product remains clean👍

    Can you explain the "object" menu?
    There is an option there that I don't understand.
    When you add parts/cube and right-click on it, you will see a menu.
    There is "add forced supports"

    I wonder if line width setting to reduce support line width would help reduce contact surface, and also reduce support strength.
    I would like to see more study and rational about line width settings in Orca.

      I am going to mess with it more. I like orca but i sometimes get frustrated with the settings.

    I use PETG for the support interface layers on PLA parts and vice versa with default settings, of course this using an AMS, but on my Ender 5 plus machines I use the default settings on Cura and they work just fine.
    I would have used Orca for the Ender 5 Plus machines but I have problems with the support angle settings, in Cura I set the threshold to 55 degrees but if I do this is Orca with the same part I get problems.

      I like orca slicer but cura seams a little easier settings wise.

      Orca does overhangs the opposite of cura. It reads the angle opposite/opposed. So for your 55degree angle in cura (which is the same angle I use in cura) you would say 35. 45 degree in cura is still 45 in orca, 50 in cura is 40 in orca, etc.
