Leandro Monteiro that's for sure but look at his resume. You don't realize he's been on every tv shows houseband like American idol the voice he toured with pink. Rockstar the tv show. I think that's where I first noticed him. And now he can work on Magnetico. He's got a great singing voice. Some of his shows are on utube.

Rafael is a modern guitarist that doesn get talked about enough! I had the first Magnetico album waaay back and was so in love with the music, the tone, his voice. Dude has every right to be on all the guitar magazines. I'm 200% sick of seeing Jimmy Page and Hendrix still dominating the covers when we have dozens and dozens of talent out here killing it and aren't getting recognized properly

Rafael is an amazing player, and an even nicer guy. Met him at the NAMM show, and we chatted a while about music and our mutual love for Bogner amps. He has incredible taste, tone, and flair in his playing. One of the best.

Rfael plays OLD SHIVA model out of production from 2005.
Can anyone explain what he means when he says the old Shiva is hard to play compared to the newer one?

Long time fan of Moreira, but does anyone know how he gets his tone and that much saturated gain out of his Shiva, because every other clip I hear on utube never sounds close to Moreira or Justin Derrico ? They must use some gain/overdrive in front or mod their Shivas?
JayRoc tubescreamer - that's it! Rafa gain is dimed on the amp and then a TS9 on the front for leads
JayRoc yea even with say the Helios if u want different distortions u can use Bogners high gain or put it in 70s mode and add a distortion pedal. Lots of options.

I think Rafael's mistake is not treating himself as an Eddie Van Halen who needs a David Lee Roth or a Sammy Hagar with the right chemistry to write good songs and jump to the next level.
I don't think that's the case for a minute, I think dude has his own KILLER voice, at some moments sounds like Chris Cornell, he has his own thing going on and it's great
