Yo Liu is so real for that though: it's true about grammar. Anybody who speaks more than one language (or is trying to) just go for it. Throw words left and right, it's the only way to learn. You can get ideas across even with a super basic knowledge of random vocabulary. Most people are just too afraid to go for it because they don't want to make a mistake in public, but you learn so much faster just throwing words. Don't obsess over the grammar, you'll build the grammar as you go.
