Its really de-humanising having someone talk for you. If you ask most people who are disabled they hate it when people ask questions about them to someone else while they are present. They asked most questions to the girlfriend but a few for him so he felt part of the conversation.

Listen man I used to be bitter towards women. Sometimes it resurfaces, but it’s not worth it having that thought process.
