    Fabfilter is a must have for audio,compression,eq,limiter,ect. I use it for pro tools and just noticed the other day I can use it for davanci also.

    The lens flares and light leaks already in pro DaVinci resolve are amazing. Can do everything you showed. Also, the existing AI voice enhancement in fair light where you add one effect and it is all the audio tools, auto applied (auto eq, cleanup, de-esser, etc). Literally just drag it on to your vocal track and it’s done. So far haven’t seen much that isn’t already in 17.1

    How is your unedited audio so rough 😕
    Sounds like it was highly EQ’d to sound bad

    • @BillyRybka
      @BillyRybka  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It actually wasn't, I had no eq track on it. It's a rode video pro plus. If you look back, you can hear the same sounding audio.

    • @FCPWHAT
      @FCPWHAT 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well one could argue that if the audio plugin sounded good on a deliberate made-to-sound-bad recording, imagine what it could do on a source recording that was better! However, it’s worth investing in the time to properly learn the basic tools of audio such as compression and EQ, and you’ll likely do a half decent job without any plugin!

    NeatVideo and FilmConvert are two nice plugins; NOBE Color Remap and False-color by NOBE were nice but the color warp too and new false-color ofx tooll in resolve 17 makes it so those two plugins are no longer needed

    As cool as the ERA5 plug is it appears that it also makes your audio slightly out of sync to your video. When you turned it off I noticed a difference. I'll download it and try it out to see if that's normal behavior.

    Billy, thank you for review and other videos, it is awesome! 1 question: what is your sequence of applying Era 5 plugins?

    • @BillyRybka
      @BillyRybka  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I listen to what is going on in the audio and try tweaking it. So if I have a lot of reverb, I ad reverb remover. If there is a lot of bg noise, I add noise remover. I usually leave the settings low because they can do more damage if they are set too high. Then I add De-esser and Voice eq.

    Good to fall into this older video and always nice to learn something new..
    I’ve been hearing about era plug in for a while now and of course the day I decide to look into it more closely I see that they don’t exist anymore!
    So my question if you ever read this comment, is there out there a similar and easy, doing such a great job at cleaning audio that I could look into?
    I’m struggling with eq-ing audios in my videos when it is dialogues and I feel like when I’m done it sounds even worst than the original I started with!
    I feel like a plug in like Era 6 boudée could have really helped with a le excellent start and trust..
    Maybe it’s a new video you can make in the future where you can help us bouncing toward an alternative as good or even better..
    Anyways, hope you read my comment and have the time to answer..

    Billy, I have a Yeti x...do you think it'll do all the sound correcting the Audio Butler can do? I'm not familiar with sound editing.

    Hi
    Do you know how to insert vector illustration into PowerPoint 2013; ?
    Should I download the vector animated illustration as .png format or jpeg or in any other format ( directly from Google) ?
    Can you suggest a website where I can download free vector illustrations ?

      If i drag it on the fusion workspace, nothing happens. If i start the script in console mode, it works to step 7 of 8, "opening reactor", and the explorer pops up. That's it. Nothing else. So sad ;-)

    I think @Daniela Tocan is not so wrong. Did you listen how you mix just for example this video with headphones? Its just a bad mix. As long you do not able to mix with external sidechaining in alexaudiobuttler its not worth to spend one cent for thus plugin. It makes things just bad sound. Anyways Accusonus have one plugin that is realy good but similar you get for free. I follow yours videos front time tot time. They are the best example how to do it wrong. I speak for sound.

    No reason for any of these, can just set up presents and do the same thing

    • @BillyRybka
      @BillyRybka  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You cant set up presets that are nearly as effective as these plugins. I mean maybe the closest one you can do is make a preset for the ERA 5 bundle. But Alex audio butler literally uses AI to auto-duck your audio and engineer it, there's no possible way to do this inside of resolve, id love to tho haha. Reactor adds things into resolve that arent in it. People have to script it in .Lua to make these reactor plugins happen. Lens masters easily do stuff that would take hours to do and it makes it easy. Maybe you can make a few presets, but would it be worth your time and effort? Personally, I don't think it is. That's why I made this video, these plugins do things that will speed up a workflow.

    When davinci gets rid of fusion and makes it a drag and drop like after effects t@s when everyone will REALLY embrace davinci resolve and it will be #1 hands down!!!!

    • @BillyRybka

      Fusion and After Effects are almost the same thing. After Effects uses layers. With fusion, instead of a layer, you get a node. All effects are housed in nodes. This gives fusion more flexability over after effect actually. I used AE for years before fusion. Its a lot easier to work with Nodes than layers. Layers in AE stack effects inside where nodes are individual & can be toggled off to troubleshoot. The only thing AE has on Fusion is the ecosystem. Its just more built out. Also the Rotobrush 2. That thing is great.
