O. M. G.!!! Robin is absolutely AMAZING!!! What an incredibly beautiful voice he had. During this performance a girl stormed the stage. Robin looked over to the right and saw what was going on, Security Guards managed to grab her, but Robin never missed a note!!! He’s an incredible performer!!!! There will NEVER BE ANOTHER ROBIN!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ 🌹🌹🌹
Robin his gift is unbelievable...singing, conducting himself! I love this concert, I listen all the time... just for Robin.... His gorgeous angelic voice.... Simply beautiful 👏👏👏♥️
He was counting his key changes if he was going to a higher note and had to keep it light he would light his thumb would lightly touch is index finger; if he was dropping his thumb would drop to a lower finger. Sometimes he looked to be pointing notes out rapidly on a keyboard or guitar fret.
RIP Robin. I will never be able to choose one over the other but this song with Robin on lead is magical. Incredible voice. No comparison. The interruption was a fan trying to get on stage. This whole concert is awesome.

Something that I find exceedingly striking about this song......Robin was 17 years old when he wrote this! There is a video that was done back then, and seeing him back then, bad teeth, complexion issues, those puppy dog eye. He was a poet, through and through.
Robin was using his hands to count, and keep the notes perfect. Also putting his hand over his ear to keep some of the sounds out. They didn't have the technology like they have today. Some artists do that. And Robin was a perfectionist.
@@personperson8852 He never missed a beat, but was not about a fan, one of their songs had reached the charts and it was flashed up on the stage screen. You can see on my previous comment.
'And The Sun Will Shine' is an absolute favorite of mine. Such a beautifully poignant and melancholic song. Love watching Robin sing it live when he was young. You can just watch the feelings wash over his face as he closed his eyes and got lost in the music!!
This song is a masterpiece. My goodness Robin puts his heart and soul into every single note! I adore him. There will never be another Robin. They broke the mold!
One of the best performances of this song. Robin is magnificent, and he never skips a beat when he gets distracted by the fan that runs up on stage, and grins during it the entire time. Absolutely love this one! Thanks for the review, Chad. Spot on!
He was simply perfect……one of my favorite songs and I believe the best performance of it …..he was looking stage right because a girl had gotten on to the stage …..he was smiling and didn’t miss a beat …..I’m 70 years old and remember when this song first came out and was on the radio ……in those days Robin sang lead in almost every song …..
Flawless performance, despite the fan disruption. Bee Gees were absolute professionals on stage. I've never been aware of anyone who complained attending their concerts. Listen to the notes - flats and sharps - as Robin Gibb sings with his unique vibrato and delivery of the lyrics. No one who has covered this song was able to come close to the sound of the original. Chad, I'm so pleased you finally listened to this lesser known but brilliant song from the Brothers Gibb.

Great reaction Chad. Robin's voice and expressiveness were spectacular in the 70s (which I think he toned down a bit later). There are so many great live performances in this era from Melbourne, Chicago Soundstage, Midnight Special etc. I could watch them over and over.

Chad, I dropped everything when I saw in my notifications that you reacted to "I Can't See Nobody" from Melbourne in 1974! What an amazing reaction! I've been waiting for a very long time for this wonderful Robin lead to be done. With a full orchestra accompanying them and Robin's emotional performance, I don't think there is a better version out there for you to have used and you did not disappoint! To answer your question about what was distracting him during the performance was that a fan had made it onto the stage and was headed for Maurice and was detained by security before the situation got out of hand. That long hold near the end was Robin and Barry together. Their voices together were another whole sound from each individually. Thanks for the reaction. 👍 Could you please react to Every Second, Every Minute from 1971? It was a surprise to me when I heard it a year or so ago.
Love when their voices blended or started over-lapping each other! Truly Mesmerizing!!!😍 Love their trading off on lead verses in a song! And adding backing-vocals for each other. Each of their voices accentuated the other! I can usually instantly hear when Robin comes in, BUT not in a couple songs. One where they are so perfectly blended is in the song 'Fanny Be Tender.' I swear I Can't tell who is who there in certain parts. Now That don't happen Often!!😉
I wondered for YEARS who was there OR what was going on? I've read about a girl trying to get on the stage BUT recently I read, from someone that was there, that Andy had walked in. THIS makes more sense to me to account for Robin's grin, the applause, and the photo flashes! Perhaps it was both? But this is my FAVORITE rendering of this song!! He was looking off the side because they fan. A girl tried to get on the stage and security stopped her and the crowd reaction and Robin didn’t miss a beat, but just smiled and kept singing.
Maurice tended to do a bunch of crazy actions during certain segments of songs where he really didn’t have a part. I watched one performance where Maurice grabbed the camera that was recording the concert and he started filming the audience!! All 3 have/had an amazing sense of humor and it showed when they were on stage!

(Does anyone know if there is a video of this same performance, but not cut off at the end with acknowledgements?)
He was looking off the side because they fan. A girl tried to get on the stage and security stopped her and the crowd reaction and Robin didn’t miss a beat, but just smiled and kept singing.
Very nice piece as always from the legendary Bee Gees.
Maurice tended to do a bunch of crazy actions during certain segments of songs where he really didn’t have a part. I watched one performance where Maurice grabbed the camera that was recording the concert and he started filming the audience!! All 3 have/had an amazing sense of humor and it showed when they were on stage!
This is a great version, but (live in Midnight Special) might be even better.
Nice channel man. The Bee Gees rule. ✌️
I agree
A girl was trying to go to the stage that’s why he’s smiling.
What a great tri o back then , love the 70s ....
This song is very reminiscent of the period that it was written in (around 66/67) and makes me think of the Moody Blues.
So good! Never heard this before. 💜 Robin!
Robin does have a beautiful voice. I listened to some of the Gibb Collective and Robin’s sons Spenser and R J are amazing
