one of the points the sublime ms bailey makes is that the bebop dominant scale is played with the chord tones(f a c eflat) on the beat. interestingly three of her chords; A minor 7 flat 5, E flat major 7, C minor 7 have a top note which is not one of these chord tones which allows for a very nice motion to a chord tone on the beat. the exception to this is f7 which ends on the eflat. because of this I like to use an f major seven arpeggio instead which moves quite nicely to the eflat downbeat of the bebop scale. give it a try.
