Nehru invaded china in 1962 when china was begging for food , at the time of the famine of 59 to 62...which killed 30 million.. Nehru was sure he could have gotten away with a weakened china and the usa- soviet distracted with the cuban missile crisis.. Nehru was shocked with a humiliating defeat which ended his 13 years of neighbouring nation annexation.

So is every other countries priority their own land.
The question is how they handle the undeniable fact that other countries exist,
and relations may benefit them in ways and disbenefit them in other ways,
and with India beign reliant on raw material imports alone, india can not just isolate itself (unless it wants to end up really really poor).

Nehru invaded china in 1962 , so when did he gave china the UN permanent seat, and when was it offered to india and how can you pass one seat to another, china at your whim in the UN . Modi is Nehru's toilet bowl for all I can see. China replaced taiwan only in 1971. So china wasnt even there at UN.

@theglobalgambit NEHRU invasion STRATEGY in 1962 was brilliant.
Nehru actually invaded china when china was begging for food, took advantage of weakened china caused by the famine of 59-62 that 30 millions died. But then was so terribly shocked by the emaciated china army which managed to overcome the strong well fed 'British trained ' battle hardened Indian forces-, that he went into deep depression and gave up his conquering ambition after successful annexing other nations for 13 years. . No other Indian did any better.

One of the hallmarks of a real superpower is a very efficient and impartial judicial system that is impartial and timely in solving and delivering judgements on cases. India is so far behind with outdated laws and I believe 50 million cases pending for decades. Just having a great military without the people having good jobs is only half a superpower. All the Law Ministers over the years of both parties have done little to clear the backlog of cases. This backlog and outdated laws will create turmoil in the populace in the years to come.

    • @adamski-l5w
      @adamski-l5w 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

I totally agree that an efficient and impartial judiciary will enhance any state. It provides genuine stability and security for the citizens. That applies to all countries, superpower or not.
Superpowers can have dreadful judicial systems that are just organs of state repression (ussr/prc) but massive military and economy may make them superpowers anyway.
      I’m nitpicking here of course.
      I would hypothesise that :
      1) for whatever inefficiencies it suffers, India’s judiciary has enough independence from the government to put it way ahead of any non-democratic country AND
      2) contestable elections and a vigorous press are effective mechanisms to (perhaps painfully) improve the situation.
      Wishing good luck to India.

Even if indians are as smart as the chinese and world is on the globalisation wave, India will still be unable to do it. It has to do with society, and the leaderships of the countries. Pivotal changes to china's society and economic structure were shaped by three leaders. Mao destroyed the old class society. Deng Xiao Peng shaped the economic structure- banking and land under complete control of the states. Xi Ji ping killed most of corruption. India has hinduism- it based on class or caste. Many slave class:: women and other minorities. Its economy is controlled by the Super Rich. Corruptions is a culture- so tea money is expected. Sounds simple but all have implications on how to run society efficiently and in making use of any talent from the population.

Why people think that a party not getting full majority is only bad for India, maybe its because most people watching this have not seen coalitions work and they only heard that it will be dark time for growth,
Problems will be there and Nations has to fight and evolve, If a party becomes arrogant and stops listening to ground then they will be defeated, same happened to congress.
