On my ipad there is a button that says “turn off and delete from icloud” and below it reads “turns off icloud photos on ALL your devices” but i don’t want the photos deleted from ALL my devices (which I assume includes my iphone) Not sure what to do now

I’m on iPad, it didn’t delete the photos from my iPhone, does this mean that from now on my iPhones photos won’t be synced with my iPad or will it remove them from my iPad (like remove photos taken in the past)

Do you have any videos on iOS 17? Since upgrading my iPhone to iOS 17 I receive a warning about storage space. In Storage it says I have 14GB of Synced content! What is this Synced content and how do you remove it to regain storage space on my iPhone? Any help appreciated.

Uh so I followed this and lost about 1000 photos… like I wanted them off my iPad cause I use it for school but now pretty much all my photos are gonna from my phone. I have 20 photos left and now no way of getting them back. Some of those photos are of my dog who passed away awhile ago. Please explain how I would fix this 😅

Yes , if you’ll turn it back on the iCloud will automatically copy all the photos and videos back in your phone/tablet memory
But however by keeping it off you will no longer benefit from the extra memory given by the iCloud and you will only resume to your physical memory
