This bloke is like a big brother or a father figure that I needed at this period in my life where I feel aimless and totally lost.

I’m 69 and just finished writing my first book. I was a professional technical writer but learned that I’m a decent creative author. One of the most satisfying things I’ve ever done.

Just turned 42 and I'm I doing exactly what you did. Investing in my health and wealth for the future. Lived in the moment up until this point and was beginning to come of the rails. Now I am in a much better place. Great advice.

One trait of Ash’s content I’ve always responded to is it often feels as if he’s having the conversation directly with me. A sign of a good presenter, I guess👊

Agree Ash. Have lived a very similar life. And followed the same advice. My grandmother Showed me the advantages of saving. Now that I am in my 60's I can reap the benefits. A great Man once said "follow your bliss". Cheers Ron

Right now I am that boring “does his job adequately and that’s it” guy. I am determined to turn that around before I enter my 40s in a few years. I am glad I found your channel as I have had a dearth of positive male role models all my life. 🙏🏻

I agree with you fully Ash. Living in the moment is great and all but I never experienced more pleasure
in life than accomplishing long challenging tasks.

Great video. Having a good healthy routine is so important. Each day I now get up at 6am. I do some gentle exercise first thing. This year I started to learn Tai Chi. I then eat a healthy balanced breakfast. I use my journal to plan my day. And I then enjoy that time in the morning before everyone else has got up. I listen to some music and just meditate. I try to have a daily walk in nature. I make sure I go to bed at the same time every day. Since I started doing this my health has much improved.

Wise advice. A life in the moment is likely not a life under command. Living the moment is not quite the same as seizing the moment.
Challenge is the spice of life.

Some excellent themes there, Ash most of which resonated with me. My driving theme is never to prevaricate or put things off. If you can do something today, do it as time waits for no man. I like the idea of personal challenges by exposing yourself to new things or having a target in terms of health - getting to a level of fitness etc . And if you can kill two birds with one stone, even better. Learn new things, stretch your mind and body.

    1. Look forward. But also look into the future. Health & Finances. 2. Prioritize health & wellbeing. People rely on you. 3. Nurturing relationships. Connections inspire, nurture and make your life better. 4. Use your talents. Use your gifts (for instance Ash: Passing messages to people) 5. Challenge yourself. Pitch for the excellent, explore. Push open a door (can be anything like events, leaving your comfort zone). Great video. 🎉👍🏻😎 Thanks, Ash!

Excellent advice! You and I are actually very similar with regards to the whole "lone wolf" thing. I've crossed paths with some amazing people in my life but one of my character flaws is that I don't keep in touch. I regret that now. Relationships run their course for various reasons but often all it takes to rekindle them is to pick up the phone or fire off an email. I cherish my remaining friendships and am particularly vigilant to safeguard any new ones.

I think living in the MOMENT includes living responsibly and being aware of consequences. It means not living in a stew of fretting and worrying. The Buddhists believe in living moderately, as do most of the rest of the religions. The Buddhists are the folks who focus on living in the NOW. As they say, the past is over and cannot be changed, and the future has not yet happened and is unknowable. This is to urge you to eschew worry and to live your life, responsibly, moderately, and with joy.

An interesting comment! I think its interesting that in modern parlance "living in the moment" often precludes consideration, reflection. If you are thinking, you are not in the moment.
I'm often told I overthink things, I disagree. Instead I live by a motto handed down to me, "worrying is a waste of food". Fretting achieves nothing but burnt calories at best, if you can see potential for unfavourable outcomes then plan for it. Plan for everything. Draw the map around you, know your options. As soon as you have a concern, you have a project! List the potentials, then plot possible routes. Suddenly you can see the board before you, which greatly helps to anticipate (and be prepared for) issues and also to feel assured of your opportunities when they occur.

Well Well Well! Just watched the video about those things? Which do not please you in terms of style. There is an offer that may seem interesting to you! How about the fact that you have to photograph each outfit for each of your outfit during a week, and then make a video a review of everything that you had to wear in a week? We will find out how often you dress in style 007, and how often you dress the park! Just photograph everything honestly!
