Ouch. Your strength shows so don't let anyone label you any dirty term. You just made bad decisions or ones that helped you survive in the moment. Stay strong and dont let anyone rob your dignity and good luck.

Thankyou 🙏 for sharing your story! I related alot to many things you went through. It's been 5 years since I left rehab and went into the house they gave me. I'm 3 years clean. It certainly is a process! I still struggle with guilt & shame...mostly when it comes to my children! I have good & bad days but no where near as bad as 1 day in addiction! I think I mostly now need to connect with other women who are rebuilding their lives also and can support me and others. Sadly I never found that support in the "rooms". I live in Canberra for the time being but my children are up on the mid north coast living with my wonderful Mother. I'm stuck because I can't afford to relocate & act housing don't do transfers to NSW. Please comment if you can relate and are also seeking support and connection. Genuine friendships only nothing weird THANKYOU!🙏
