+Pamela Lala Hi Pamela. I am so sorry that it has taken so long to respond. Sometimes when comments come in, I do not have a reply option to respond. This was the case with yours. I love using the Martha Stewart punch around the page punches. They can be a little tricky at times. The main thing is that you need to keep the paper that comes with the punch that states the size you must cut your paper for the design to fit perfectly. Keeping that in mind will keep the frustration level down! : ) Happy creating!
I was just browsing through videos for ideas to make my mom an album to showcase her garden and I came upon your beautiful album. It is just breathtaking! I made an album with this paper line years ago when it came out, but sold it on ebay--I'm kicking myself as the paper is so much more expensive now! Such a gorgeous album! LOVE your handmade flowers...perfect color match for your project. Every page is a delightful demonstration of paper art...can't pick a favorite. This is one of those books that could be displayed all by itself, without photos, and still be the highlight of conversation. Well done! Thanks to you, I am now using magnets in my albums...love how you used them in this album. Any chance you could share your techniques on how you attached your charms onto the spine? Thanks for sharing your videos..much appreciated.
Martie Rollin Thank you so much, Martie! I am so glad that I inspired you to use magnets in your albums. There is so much you can do with them and they make your album even more special. Of course I will share how I attach the charms to the spine. I attach a large o-ring into the chain at a little less than the halfway mark. This o-ring will be threaded onto the ribbon I have attached to the spine and then I tie a bow with the ribbon. I add small o-rings onto my charms and then add those to the chain wherever I like the placement. Super simple and fun! Please let me know if you need further instruction.
Debra Persing I was imagining the chain rubbing against the spine...I like the idea of attaching a ribbon to the spine, then the chain onto the ribbon. I'l try this technique on my next book. Thanks!
Martie Rollin I have never noticed any damage to the sprine with the chain rubbing against it. You will love this technique. Let me know if you have any questions.
Beautiful! All the different lace edges and corners add so much grace and dimension, and the larger size album offers more photo options, love it! Was wondering if/how you made the dangling vine and the foliage around the window inside... I've watched your video twice to see if I missed that tidbit of info. Please share, thank you!
+Evelyn Perkins Hi Evelyn! That was a fun page to make!! : ) I bought some leaf trim by the yard and also used a die from Heartfelt Creations (Ornamental Add On #HCD 738) and combined the two. You, of course, can use a different die if you do not have this one. I liked using the combination of the trim and die. It gave a softer look. Thank you so much for watching.

Debra, I love Heartfelt Creations too. We had a craft show in Denver this wkend, it ended today and I worked for them in their booth. I was Paid in their papers, etc. I LOVED IT...Unfort I didn't get the Arianna dies or the Gate dies. Will have to get them. I have all the other dies and MS punches. Erin Stevens Thank you so much, Erin! I had the collection from the 2010 release and the new limited edition package. I used both of the packages to complete this mini album. I did have alot of paper left over because I did not want the put the paper with the blue-green color in it. I just stuck to the papers that had the peachy-pink and cut-aparts that had the theme of fairies. I will, at some time, use the additional papers in another mini album.

+Debbie DeRosa Thank you so much, Debbie. I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink. I also used just a touch of Tim Holtz Tattered Rose (expecially on the roses that I made for this mini). As far as the fence on the first page, I used a Spellbinders die from The Rubber Cafe. I am not sure if it had a product number, if so it is not on the packaging I have. You should be able to go to therubbercafe.com and pull it up. The fence measures approximately 1 3/4 inches high. I hope that this information helps you.
