These olde time wooden row boats (and sail boats) are so lovely. Beauty in every detail. And the bliss to be out rowing connecting with nature. ....oh my.
Yesterday I bought a 17 ft Whitehall that was handcrafted in 1977. Spent today sanding down the mast, tomorrow the gunwales and finishing. I look forward to having in the water next week.
@@bosse641 It came out well. Rows nicely and runs well with the wind, but not upwind. So I built a leeboard I am going to install and see if I can use it as a sailboat.
