Nobel actually was known for developing dynamite as nitroglycerine was to volatile to handle safely. He was so distressed about how many people were killed by this invention, he began the Nobel Peace Prize to be awarded to people who made advancements that saved lives not destroying. Sorry Mr. Peabody. Pardon my correcting you but it was noteworthy and he is also related to Jimmie “J.J.” Walker from "Good Times" who honored him with his catchphrase as I'm sure you knew. :)
