Vocal range, the musical notes that a person can reach like lows, belts, falsettos or whistles. A great example is Ariana Grande you can search for her vocal range so you understand better.

Just a lame comparison, but when the other three members had vocal lessons 5 days a week, Jennie had probably only 2/3 of them, since she needed to have mainly rap lessons. Jennie could easily be a main vocal with that potential already (in groups like ITZY), but she could be a great main vocalist in other groups if she had the training, and I mean GOOD training. She also has the 2nd widest range and supports her higher register as the only one alongside Rosé who actually has some support.

Jisoo has the strongest lows, Rosé has the strongest high notes, and Jennie is somewhat balanced between the two. That's why Jennie has a chorus in As if it's Your Last instead of Jisoo, but also sings lower verse parts on occasion. I just don't understand why they didn't have Rosé belt one of the E5s in DDU-DU DDU-DU. It would also be nice to have Rosé show off more belts above E5, since we have that one G5 from predebut. We didn't even have any Rosé E5s in BLACKPINK's discography (aside from a harmony in Forever Young) until Ice Cream and Bet You Wanna.
I mean it all has to do with how confident they are with those notes, i’m still in between who is the strongest at high notes since Jennie gets shouty while Rosé is way too thin and gets very heady. Unpopular opinion: Blackpink released tittle tracks in this year (except Ice Cream) suit Blackpink range the most. You can clearly see how some members seems to struggling to hit some notes in some parts in songs like DDDD and KTL but not with HYLT and LSG.

Jisoo has the strongest lows, Rosé has the strongest high notes, and Jennie is somewhat balanced between the two. That's why Jennie has a chorus in As if it's Your Last instead of Jisoo, but also sings lower verse parts on occasion. I just don't understand why they didn't have Rosé belt one of the E5s in DDU-DU DDU-DU. It would also be nice to have Rosé show off more belts above E5, since we have that one G5 from predebut. We didn't even have any Rosé E5s in BLACKPINK's discography (aside from a harmony in Forever Young) until Ice Cream and Bet You Wanna.
I mean it all has to do with how confident they are with those notes, i’m still in between who is the strongest at high notes since Jennie gets shouty while Rosé is way too thin and gets very heady. Jennie at best is the best belter in the group even tho Rosé is the best vocalist

seems to have more ease and better intonation when she goes higher, especially considering Jennie avoided the DDU-DU DDU-DU E5s live, and she also seems to have a pretty well-connected head voice, whereas we don't hear much of Jennie's falsetto. I think Jennie has a pretty flexible range, but doesn't have great control over it due to her lack of technique.

Jennie & Jisoo have really nice voices, they just need proper training and lines that complement their vocal colors. Examples of lines that suit their voices would be Jennie's lines in 'Crazy over you' & Jisoo's lines in 'Forever young'.

since everyone is talking and comparing about ChaeNnie’s Vocals. The difference between them is Jennie has a deep voice, more stable than Rosé (we can’t deny that fact) but we know that Rosé uses a different technique and alot have said that it’s not good for Rosé’s vocals. We know that Rosé’s natural voice is deep and i saw a comment saying that Jennie isn’t the main vocalist because she would something “outshine” the other members. No, Rosé was the Main Vocalist because YG knew that she has the widest vocal range and can pop off. She was the only one who can do the technique that she’s using right now which made her the Main Vocalist.
Jennie really is a good vocalist too but Rosé deserves the main vocalist position more. Her emotions through singing, high notes, vocal range, different techniques, high pitch voice, deep voice, facial expressions, memories of chords, respects music alot makes sense why she is the Golden Voice of KPOP.
