  • Did you know that you should not be using Epsom Salts or Magnesium Flakes for your baths? I will explain why and show you how to make a proper Detox Bath recipe instead.
    Basic Detox Bath recipe
    2 cups sea salt
    2 cups bicarb soda
    1 cup borax
    Optional Additions:
    Add pine oil or other essential oil
    1/2 cup bentonite clay
    2 tsp to 1/4 cup ginger powder
    2 tsp to 1/4 cup matcha green tea
    2 cups food grade or regular Hydrogen Peroxide
    DIRECTIONS:
    Put in a tub of hot water and soak for 30 minutes or more with a wet towel over the chest. Also good to scrub skin while in the bath. Good to use magnesium lotion or magnesium oil with coconut oil following the bath.

    If you have filtered water or if you neutralize your bath water first it gets rid of the chlorine and other harsh chemicals you can do this by adding 1/2 cup baking soda or powdered vitamin C and let sit for 5 mins before adding your detox Ingredients

    Very interesting. I wasn’t aware of that and often put Epson salts into my bath. I’ll have to try the sea salt and bicarb instead. Xx

      Yes, I know, I was doing the same! I guess it's still good for relaxing the muscles, but it's great to have the benefits of detox with sea salt and bicarb soda 🙂

    The epsom salt will help neutralise the poisons in the water plus will help pull out poisons from the body

      Can you explain the method that Epsom salt does that by please? From Dr Sandra Rose Michael I understand that Epsom salt only only opens skin pores to absorb stuff from water, and does not extract anything from the body, hence you only want to use Epsom salt if your water is absolutely pure.

    I've heard to add bentonite clay or zeolite clay, however, as they are volcanic they probably contain heavy metals. Would those heavy metals also be absorbed in the bath or would they be absorbed in the body?

    • @HealthOrigins
      @HealthOrigins  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am not sure how clay would react in this mix. Normally clay attracts any heavy metals and parasites to itself, so it might be a good addition.

    Where do you get the sea salt? Isnt it expensive?

    I've heard to add 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar or lemon juice to neutralize chlorine in the beginning. Would that make the bath more inclined to be absorbed into the body?

    • @HealthOrigins
      @HealthOrigins  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The vinegar would react and neutralise the bicarb soda, so perhaps best not to add it.

      Chlorinated water is going to be more alkaline, so adding an acid actually makes more sense than adding bicarb which is going to make the water more alkaline. Just wait until the reaction is finished.

    Would 1cup of sea salt and 1 cup of baking soda be enough?

    • @HealthOrigins
      @HealthOrigins  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say it would not have as strong detoxifying effect as the full recipe, but if that's all you have, it's definitely better than nothing. If you have had EESystem session, like we offer in our centre in Newcastle, I would definitely recommend having the full strength recipe detox bath for at least 30 minutes.

      Thank you so much! We do have the system and are researching our concoction. So 2cups of sea salt and 2cups of baking soda then? Nothing else?

    • @HealthOrigins
      @HealthOrigins  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Excellent, fellow EESystem owner! 👍❤️ Where is your centre located? We also add 1 cup of borax to ours. This is the main mix that Dr Sandra Rose Michael Recommends.
