I adore the Laura Ingalls Wilder books as well. I read them as a child, then to my children as they grew up. My set is very well worn!! We now have grandchildren and I can’t wait until the oldest has an attention span so I can read them to her.

Molly just like i said on your Instagram about my husband and I doing the Monarch butterflies with our kids as you are doing with yours, we also did the exact same thing with the kayaks and the kids! Now they’re old enough and have their own. I wish your girls happiness with school. Glad you are closer to your family. So exciting to be settling into your new home soon. As far as the cats go we have moved our two boys with us every time we have moved internationally and they have never been medicated ... in fact most pet relocating companies explicitly say that animals are not allowed to be medicated for flights because its dangerous (atleast every one we've ever used have said that) ... I would never consider medicating my boys for a flight and they have always done amazingly ... we've moved them from Dubai to Bahrain to New York and then to London ... and the only reason I wouldn't move them would be if they were too old or if they had some other health condition that would prevent them from safely flying ... I'm glad your two are with a good family and will be well taken care of

I grew up in Michigan (lower left hand side) and fished the St. Joseph river with my Grandmother when I was a wee little girl. Sweet memories.

My friend brought his pets from Europe via a special pet courier service. Not via plane. But happy to hear your cats found a new home .

Our two small dogs travelled from Australia to Canada for one move, and then Canada to the US on another - not medicated for either move.
