I am so glad you are able to get in quality time with your grandparents. I miss mine dearly. My grandpa passed away 5 years ago from gastrointestinal cancer and my grandma 2 years later to multiple myeloma. That time of hospice to pull together as a family and make those last sweet memories was so precious. You are on my thoughts during this time.

That is so funny to hear about your Grandma using the term "titch" for juste a little bit! I somehow use a few more "old-fashioned" phrases that I picked up from my family and "a titch" is one of them! I always tell my husband things like, "Can you turn that up a titch?" or "I think we need a titch more ,insert seasoning>" when we are cooking. I am glad to hear you are able to spend some extra time with your grandparents at this time. As always, love your podcast and yarn!
These times with a loved one receiving hospice care are so precious 💗 the times I had with my mother are amongst the most precious...emotionally difficult yet so precious 💗 Hugs to you and your family 💗
Just had to comment on your grandparents' situation and hope that your family can lean into the hospice support, maybe protect some time to just be there. I remember a similar circumstance in my life, waiting with my father, and the comfort in being really present as I was able (& knitting garter). Sending you and your grandma hugs...think of it as a casserole sent over the internet! 💕 Julie
