This surgery ruined my health. Most people don't even need the surgery. Look it up online: about 80 percent of people have a deviated septum. But 80 percent of people don't have congestion. So, just because you have a deviated septum doesn't mean it's causing your sinus problems. There are several other things that can cause breathing issues. This surgery can cause nasal nerve pain, worse breathing problems, vision problems, and Trigeminal Neuralgia.

i would get it done from an experienced surgeon with a good track record. Also, its easy to get hit and have it go back into deviation. I would get the surgery if youre not looking to do rough contact sports. Even basketball can be dangerous. protect your nose at all costs!
@Joshua Merwine well, when I woke up after the surgery, I felt an intense pain on the area. Honestly, it was so painful till my head and eyes got hurt. I received a painkiller to reduce the pain and the worst part was the post-care 😭 The doctor instructed me to clean my nose using saline water with a pump bottle to get rid of the blood clot . It was really painful at first but I felt so relieved bc the airway wasn’t clogged.
As of Today 14 October 2021.. I had my Septal Deviation fixed.. Thanks to my Doctor cuz my nose was functioning well .. I am so much relieved right now.

Its really severe like i can see the nostril wall very clearly on one nostril and im always whistling when im breathing through nose. So i have to breathe through my mouth and im always gasping for air. I had to go to my doctor and hopefully i will get surgery for it soon
deez it depends on each person. My nose flicks to the other side of my face on the end so much that i think everyone is looking at it. However, people don’t really care about it because everyone’s noses are different.
