There are only two youtubers that I truly trust when it comes to opinions on gear; Robert and Glenn. Both have proven time and time again that if there is an issue with gear, they are not going to ignore or whitewash the issues. Both are great examples of being people of integrity and for that, they have my respect and appreciation. Also, twisty turny time FOREVER! Thanks for everything you do, Robert.
I'm not sure of the Glenn you are referring to (?), but I definitely agree with you on Robert. I've been following him for probably 6 years now. I've purchased a handful of gear that he has done videos on and liked, and I have never been disappointed!!
I trust all your videos, its very easy to detect misleading production on other channels. Pretty much every product like IRs ive bought as a result of a demo NEVER NOT ONCE sounded like it did in the video
Keep doing it your way dude! Much like gear I appreciate a different 'tone' from one channel to another and yours always rings REAL and brings info that helps players out so cheers and appreciation your way
Hey Robert I find your videos informative and entertaining keep up the good work.Good luck growing your channel I too have a small channel and know growing it can be tough. Good luck Louie
i always enjoy your demos. you seem more honest then most and are upfront with your opinions. would i do it any different? maybe. but i'm not the one putting the effort into making the videos so i'll just appreciate the effort you're putting into them.
Some people don't seem to understand that, especially for gear demos, making a video involves GEAR, which cost money and when you demo gear there is no way in hell you can buy everything you demo!!! So, that means you need to get the gear from the companies and yes you have bills like everyone else so yes you will be compensated. That is not a shill, that is a reviewer be it from a magazine TH-cam or whatever. A shill will lie to get clicks and views or try to peddle their own products by piggybacking on other products. End of story.
Robert, you've saved me money over the years by demoing stuff that sucks and hilariously telling how it sucks. You've also talked me into buying some pretty cool things that I ended up happy with. I trust your reviews more than any other guitar channel. I've always seen you as the working class musician, not an endorsing artist who is paid to glow over a product. That being said, I'd love to see you brutalize more stuff that sucks. 😆
Hi Robert. Last week I went to Music Depot for my guitar lesson. I was looking at pedals and what came back in stock. The MXR Super Bad Ass Pedal. What I didn't like was you couldn't put 9 volt batteries in it. And they wanted $129.00 for it and it didn't come with an adaptor. Most places I play don't have a place to plug in an adaptor. Only amps. So how am I supposed to use these newer pedals if I have no place to plug them in ? Do I really need a pedal board for pedals like this one ?
mate we know who the shills are, just look at the new Katana release, or freakin Harley Benton..all the usual suspects come out of the woodwork... I watch u for your honesty, and if that brings u success and some cash, more power to ya..🤘 I think most of us can now tell between a review and an add..all the best with your channel this year.
Im in tune with alot you say Mister Robert...
