I’m coming back to Detroit just for that week, holy hell the Lions winning the Super Bowl and the partying that comes with it will be absurd and will give BILLIONS for the city in revenue, of course the damage that would ensue in cars being flipped over and couches burning my take some of that cash back 😂
Detroit is one of the best sports towns in America we shouldn't go to long without a championship from one of our teams hopefully lions change that soon
That's the way of sports; it's the human factor. You can never be sure when, how and why a team will go through a drought, much less how long it will last- and when it will end. Look at the Tigers. The last time they took it all was in 84. The Red Sox first won it all in 1918. It was almost a century before they won it all again. Most Detroiters have it engrained in their memories when the Lions won it all. Most people living today weren't even around back then. Hell. As greatas Ted Williams was, he never got that World Series trophy and ring.
So, according to Rico, Chiefs will win the next 3 Superbowls and go on a 5+ year Super Bowl run. Chiefs at minimum have to face 2 of the better AFC teams before they would play the Lions.
The wings will be, because yzerman is building the teams he won championships with with teams he is building and molding into a serious cup ,and conference contender, they will cruise into the playoffs, those days of struggles, and depending on other teams are over !!!!!!! We will be one of the top teams in points this year, the tigers when they realize the only thing holding them back is unremorseful power hitters veteran ones that bring playoff experience and can teach the young guys what it takes to get there with this pitching staff we will runaway with the weak al central, the twins, and Cleveland are on their way to long painful rebuilds,I,e Chicago white Sox, and the royals can't keep the kind pace that they are on now and come back crashing down into the basement with the white Sox, remember how bad the Houston Astros were before aj hinch took over they went through the same rebuild that we are going through now but what happened in 2 years in Houston when he was there 5 division titles, 3 world series titles and consistently making the wild card playoffs,he will do the same here, and Spencer torkonson will be a beast,a superstar
I’ll give it 10+ years. I still don’t have faith in the Red Wings/ Tigers or Pistons. Lions on the other hand may have 1-2 seasons left of trying to win the super bowl before they implode.
Brad Holmes is not letting them implode the way he drafts plus they 20 percent make up the list of players under 25 they have 5 and the list could have more with Brian branch left off the list and alim McNeil they are going to be good for a while
So long as Brad Holmes is the GM i genuinely cannot see this team going back to where they were. From his FA signings, to his trades, and most especially his drafting. Bro rarely and I do mean RARELY misses. His touch is pure gold
Lions... and it won't be a parade. It will be a giant party for days.
Bars😂😂

@@TheUnnamedAssailant Me as well.
Lions is the easiest answer. Red Wings will need some prospects to overachieve their expected ceiling and/or Yzerman to hit it big in a trade.
Lions...shudda had one this past year lol
Can't watch unless Mike is on
I think it’s the Lions. Then the Wings. Then the Tigers. Unfortunately we don’t have a basketball team. The Pistons died with Bill Davidson.
I feel like they talk about the same topics a million times every year. This same topic has been rehashed every year for years. Need new content ugh
Yep😅 sometimes they just try to reword it.. another time they don't even bother to reword it😂
This is what happens when baseball is all we have and the trash team isn’t even on tv 😂
It's sports radio, this is kind of why most of it absolutely sucks... You want interesting content day after day go listen to replays of O&A or Stern
I don't know about the next championship team, but the next parade will be on Thanksgiving Day.
The Lions 4sho 💯💪🤙⚜🦁🇺🇲

Lions by a wide ass country mile, Tigers and Pistons are dogshit and I’m not sure what to expect from the Wings.
When Rico is alone, the show is unlistenable
Lions, Redwings in that order in the next 4 years. Lions should be in the next 1-3
I truly believe the Lions will make it to the Superbowl!

Rico is a Lions hater 😂. Chiefs didn't get better. Lions did.
6-9 it'll be the red wings
Lions or Wings.
Rico is a guy who speaks, but doesn't really say anything, and when he does, it's annoying. Just give Valenti time to rant.

Michigan Football 🏈
Yes GO BLUE. Happened 6 months ago!!! We got one.
Kadarius tony was not they best wr rice was 😂
He forget lions beat Kansas City last year and lions got better
Celtics won 1 Ring in a 27yr. timeframe.
Celtics won in 2008
Rico, you are a Lions hater. Just admit it at this point.
Nobody?? Lol
A garbage patch is ALL they get and ALL they deserve!
2008 when the Wings won the Cup. Last Detroit team. Though Michigan Wolverines 2023 National champions the best of all. GO BLUE!!
