We have the mid-sized grill, and I'm VERY impressed with these. We also have several Firebox Stoves, which are also great, but a little small. My only issue with ours is, it's difficult to get the slots in the grill ends to fit over the lobes of the fire pit. The grill itself cleans up almost instantly no matter what you put on it, like BBQ sauce or meat bits. The firepit is definitely worth every penny!
I really like this mini version. I do have the larger one and works really good. Thanks for the video and God bless my nieces... bro you’re getting old...😂😂
Ben, those three "apples" didn't fall far from the tree :) They are absolutely adorable. What a fun way to spend time with your kids! I have the larger UCO grill in my overland camping kit and love it. If I'm not overlanding I usually day hike or stealth camp and don't make fires but just use alcohol stoves most times; butane if it's a quick stop at a rest area when traveling.
Great review. Nice having all of those wood gatherers for you. Why would anyone thumbs down thus video? I don't understand. Good stuff. Making memories for the young ones. Keep it up.
I think the best fuel to use in such a small stove is the MatchLight charcoal briquettes, because they're convenient (put some in a Ziplock bag for transporting), they give you a bed of coals quickly, and they last a long time without having to add fuel or blow on them, etc. I use them in my large Flatpack grill but I think they're even more essential for the small.
Just got my regular version last night! Black Friday deal at $28 was a no brainer. Can’t wait for my first test run and the mini looks like it’s gonna make my lineup as well! Enjoyed both of your reviews 👍🏾
Great video as usual Ben. Great example of a great father 👍 They sure grow up quick. You have taught them girls well . "You cheated with the lighter" man.. 😁 Nothing like sharing outdoor time with the family. Thanks for sharing. Take care and have a Merry Christmas.
Slammin👍 Your one blessed proud Papa im sure! Thanks for another great review as always! I really liked your full size UCO review as well but man this smaller one might just be Goldilocks for what Id want one for which is hike in glamping.
Great Review! UCO actually came out with an Even Larger 2022 Model that fits avg sized logs. I like the Tan Pants You are wearing. Can you share What Brand and Model they are? Thank You
I may have to consider this mini version. Your review of the regular UCO made me buy that one. Btw, I saw a t-shirt that said “I’m not afraid of anyone, I have three daughters.” Google it some time.😄
I was wondering if you would like that nice pot on here? Really need a better one than I have. Also, what kind of boots are those of your oldest? My daughter would LOVE those for our winters in CO! Thanks. Great review!
Even though there is a slight reduction in materials, the number of production processes remains the same, as the mini and the regular are the exact same design, just scaled down for the mini. Costs are, many times, reduced by minimising the number of processes involved in production and in this case I would guess there is no way to bring that number down, as those would’ve been honed already during the design & production of the regular. Choices then come down to personal application rather than budget. It’ll be this little hiking friendly puppy for me rather than the heavier regular.
Your children are adorable! Great helpers!

This covered all the bases and got me sold. I’d like one for a single person fire 🔥 pit. Thanks bud and like how you made it a Family adventure!
I got the mini a while back perfect size and it folds up flat. Easy to pack away and super easy to set up
Nice to see you on here!

Slammin' indeed.
3 precious girls!!
You blink, and they will be graduating High School.
Good Stuff. Thanks.
Nice. I didn’t know there was this size available. Seems like a sweet spot for weight vs. dimensions. Thanks!

Thanks. They are the main reason my production has slowed the past few years but that’s time you don’t get back.
Already committed to solo stove, but the simplicity of that stove is good to go👍
Solo stoves are great.

Too much cuteness! Thanks for the review, Ben.
Thanks for the continued support.
Is there enough space to grill two Hamburger pads?
How does the UCO mini compare to the firebox ?
For grilling the flat pack gets my vote.
Nice work Ben, love the reviews👍

YesSiRr!!😎😁😊👌👊🤙🔥💯!!
For the price it’s like why not use redundancy as the excuse
