I just finished this magical game. It was my only companion on my first solo trip around Europe. I had just bought a new cellphone so I had no music on it; I just listened to this soundtrack over and over, sleeping on buses or roaming through unknown cities, helping me get the sense of the wondrous adventure that I was living, and reminding me that that journey was only a little part of an endless slide on perfect snow.
Snowboarding down the slopes, just the wind, the music, and the occasional alpaca. You drift down the mountain, silently, peacefully, beautifully. Better then some games bought with cash, An indie game, Free, Like those who play...
I don't still play Alto's Adventure. But do I remember it? Damn yeah, and always will. Alto was my friend during a very tough period of my life. After a stressful day, I would settle in bed and join Alto on his adventure down that never-ending slope in that magical place, with this masterpiece playing in the background. Times have thankfully changed, and though I am in a far better place now than I was then, I will forever be grateful to Alto and this beautiful melody.
Torilinn Cwanek This sounds amazing but I think my ears might explode from the epicness and amazingness that's going on inside my head. In other words, I think my parents are calling me but I can't hear a word their saying even though my headphones are off. I'm deaf. JK
The game is beyond beautiful and very relaxing if youre stressed out so maybe try it for that purpose it ain't your typical gore hardcore game but it gives you peace of mind

These games, they're fresh, simple, with original and curious ideas, with amazing histories... i always love indie games, and that video right up, is a proove that videogames are simply, ART... Just left other mass produced games (im not talking about they're bad) and inmerse in this iogurt of emotions called indie games Im a real gamer, then, now and FOREVER
This music helps me face my demons. Makes me think of my childhood tragedies and confront them with ease. This music has actually stopped me from killing myself. As wierd or stupid as it sounds it has. God truly made music to soothe and relieve stress. I love the person who made this soundtrack for quite literally saving my life twice. I got both alto's games for free on the epic games store and OH MY GOD. I basically only play zen now because the soundtrack is just so much better and not even having to care if you win or lose or whatever. I still play the normal version occasionally for the excitement and such but I still love zen so much more. I listen to this no matter what game I am playing because its amazing for ever single one. I downloaded this game in Christmas 2016 before taking the plane to France. I listened to this music so much. The slide noise in the snow plus the music or just when I was falling on purpose just to listen to it peacefully. So much souvenir around this game that even if I no longer play I come here oftenly to have my little reminder.
Can’t understate how at 2:16-2:35 (and other parts of the song), the sounds of the game and atmospheric setting play a huge part in adding more vividness to the gameplay. Like every time I hear this portion, it reminds me of when you jump over a large chasm, or clear a huge distance with the sun in the background overhead, or the starry night sky illuminated by the colors of the moon.

I never thought I would cry during a mobile game, but after completing it on level 61 I decided to do Zen mode for the first time ever, selecting Alto for old times sake, and just cried. What an absolutely incredible and beautiful game.
